Shock Top Pumpkin Wheat has a thick, frothy, off-white head, a mostly clear, bubbly, gold-orange appearance, which gets a descending, gray cloud, once the caked sediment is swished loose and poured in. No lacing left behind. The aroma is of spiced pumpkin bread and spiced candle. Taste is of pumpkin pulp, subdued spices, white wheat bread, and just a touch of bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium and soft, and Shock Top Pumpkin Wheat finishes on the dry side. RJT tysongillmore (362) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - NOV 21, 2015
A little hazy. Not very good pumpkin flavors. ---Rated via BeerBuddy for iPhone.

12oz bottle picked up at Harmons stevoj (5038) - Boise, Idaho, USA - OCT 31, 2015
Slightly cloudy golden with a small white head, no lacing. Aroma of wheat and pumpkin. Taste of pumpkin spices and wheat
Decent, bland and not much to it.
Bottle from Albertsons. Nothing special here, but not totally gross either. Just about as generic as you can get. At least it’s not a pumpkin pie spice overload....

Bottle. Dark copper color. Aroma of pumpkin and sweet wheat. Simple taste of sweet chemical pumpkin and wheat. Not good, but not nearly as bad as most ratings make it to be. euniceradio (535) - Worthington, Minnesota, USA - OCT 16, 2015
12oz bottle to tulip. Pours clouded deep amber red, small ring white head. Aroma of pumpkin pulp, cinnamon, and spices. Taste of the same with caramel, gingerbread, and clove. Pours a very cloudy orange color. Pretty big white head, goes away quick. Nothing exciting here.JeepGC4x4 (31) - Massachusetts, USA - SEP 13, 2015
Aroma is weird. It’s like a can of pumpkin pie mix. Yes, I smell pumpkin, and spices, and crust. But it doesn’t smell like pie. It’s light on the nose.
I taste lots of crust. Nutmeg is pretty strong. There’s other spices too, but not so easy to pick out. Pumpkin is there, but not too strong. I guess it’s malty in taste. I’m not sure.
Mouthfeel is pretty good. It’s pretty smooth and pretty drinkable. It’s creamy. It finishes slightly spicy.
Overall I’m not particularly a fan. It’s like most if not all Shock Tops, not memorable. I wonder if all Shock Tops start off as one and flavoring is added to make the product. But there’s something off about this. It’s okay, but it could stand to be more bold, or more spicy, or something. Anything. I really didn’t like it at first, but I’ve changed my tune as I’ve had more and more. If you want a pumpkin beer, try something else.
It’s pretty good for a pumpkin beer. It’s a good cold weather brew. Pumpkin spice and cinnamon are prevelent. It’s decent.
