Poured from a bottle. Cloudy yellowish-orange. Small head, no lacing. Grassy aroma, understated pumpkin taste. Good combination. beer_rookie (705) - Arkansas, USA - OCT 9, 2015
Pours a very cloudy orange color. Pretty big white head, goes away quick. Nothing exciting here.JeepGC4x4 (31) - Massachusetts, USA - SEP 13, 2015
Aroma is weird. It’s like a can of pumpkin pie mix. Yes, I smell pumpkin, and spices, and crust. But it doesn’t smell like pie. It’s light on the nose.
I taste lots of crust. Nutmeg is pretty strong. There’s other spices too, but not so easy to pick out. Pumpkin is there, but not too strong. I guess it’s malty in taste. I’m not sure.
Mouthfeel is pretty good. It’s pretty smooth and pretty drinkable. It’s creamy. It finishes slightly spicy.
Overall I’m not particularly a fan. It’s like most if not all Shock Tops, not memorable. I wonder if all Shock Tops start off as one and flavoring is added to make the product. But there’s something off about this. It’s okay, but it could stand to be more bold, or more spicy, or something. Anything. I really didn’t like it at first, but I’ve changed my tune as I’ve had more and more. If you want a pumpkin beer, try something else.
It’s pretty good for a pumpkin beer. It’s a good cold weather brew. Pumpkin spice and cinnamon are prevelent. It’s decent. Livendadream (261) - New Mexico, USA - SEP 8, 2015
Btl pours a light amber color with a fizzy white head that vanished quickly leaving no lace. Smells of spice nutmeg, cloves and ginger with a hint of vegetal gourd aroma. Tastes of pumpkin pie ,cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, crust and squash. Light body, under carbonated, watery mouthfeel and a tingly, spicy finish. Beer has nice aromas, a decent pumpkin pie flavor. The light body and weird mouthfeel just don’t work for me. The spices are not overwhelming. It is drinkable but probably won’t try again. Nekronos (4213) - Xalapa, MEXICO - SEP 6, 2015
Very nice and spicy in terms of cinnamon. Quite refreshing and enjoyable in the overall.

Considering the local temperature in the 90’s fall is in the air and in this case in the bottle. Pours a thick cloudy carmel color, strong aroma of pumpkin and spice. much like pumpkin pie in a bottle but the taste does not last and goes a bit flat. very little bitterness. overall not abad beer. Rated based on notes taken 26 Aug 2012 -- a pumpkin from Shocktop? Pretty much as you’d expect: artificial and watery. aumentm (750) - North Carolina, USA - MAY 1, 2015
This is a rockin pumpkin beer from shock top that has the highest beer tap in all of history, tfontana (1184) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - APR 14, 2015
Bottle from Foods Plus, Plaistow, NH. Aroma is pumpkin-y but without a lot of nutmeg/cinnamon/clove spiciness. Appearance is cloudy orange with minimal white head and fair retention with minimal lacing. Taste is medium sweet and not complex. Palate is medium bodied with lively carbonation at the tip of the tongue. Finish is pretty abrupt. Overall, more memorable pumpkin beers if you are searching for one in the fall. Not objectionable in any way but nothing to particularly recommend it.
