It’s a fruit beer. And it does it well on its intended level. Pouring a cloudy light yellow with a white quickly dissolving head leaving a thin ring with bead sheeting. Nose is raspberry. That’s it. Taste is raspberry with wheat malt in balance. Thin body with no bitterness. Quaffable on a hot summer day. Enjoy it for what it is and not what you might want it to be.

The natural raspberry flavor doesn’t even taste natural. Tastes like raspberry big red or something.

Bottle: The aroma consists of heavy raspberry syrup with hints of musty wheaty tartness and cereal notes. It pours a cloudy orangish-yellow with a small white head that quickly diminishes to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. The flavor starts with some light-moderate raspberry syrup/candy. The raspberry isn’t as strong as anticipated based on the aroma. The finish has some light cereal notes and wheat. It’s light bodied with some lightly fizzy carbonation. Overall, it’s certainly not great and it does start to wear on me a little by the end of the glass, but it’s not as horrible as I was anticipating. Unlike the the Wheat IPA, I could actually finish the bottle.

Draft at Tattooed Mom. Cloudy yellow. Could smell the raspberry a mile a way. Smells/tastes/feels sweet and artificial. Not for me.

Not the best raspberry beer I’ve had. Nothing special. Compared to abita purple haze well there’s no comparison really so never mind.

Raspberry is overwhelming. Too much fruit. If they tone it back a bit this may work but for now..... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle to pint. Looks like Blue Moon. Smells of artificial raspberry. Not offensive, but excessive. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Not as bad as I’d expected.

Tap at Virgin River in Mesquite, NV. Purple in color. Fruity aroma. Quite sweet with a little bit of graininess. Not great, but it is fairly refreshing.

If I want a fruit beer, I want a hint of the fruit not a hint of the beer. Strong raspberry aroma and taste and aftertaste. This is not beer.

355mL at a party. Complete sugar bomb 100%. No beer character whatsoever. Mistaken for cloying, 200 calorie fake Italian soda. Undrinkable. I don’t even know how to award points for this beer so I won’t. I award you no points. And may God have mercy on your soul.
