2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Just enough carbonation to make it feel not flat. It a weak flavoured Hefeweizen. This brewery has been a faker for may years. If you cannot afford the real thing maybe this...
To bardziej radler, niż hefe. Zero pszenicznej gładkości i ciała, żadnego banana, czuć cytrusy, ale w formie jakiejś lemoniady. Wysycenie wysokie, goryczka niska. Generalnie orzeźwia, ale nie jest to hefeweizen w żadnym calu. futre7 (249) - Taipei, TAIWAN - JUL 15, 2016
Picked it up at Family Mart in Yong-He Taipei. Pours like a flat lager. Nose is floral and sweet and smells like hard candy and sherbet. Taste is again a sweet sherbet with a cough candy finish. It tastes nothing like a Hefeweizen. I’d describe it as a flavoured alcoholic beer. After a few pints of generic lager it could be a good change but overall nothing great. wheresyourball (572) - El Cajon, California, USA - FEB 18, 2016
Picked one up in Oahu, thinking it was brewed in Hawaii. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a small head. Nose is wheat and not much else. Flavor is light, not really a true hef; watery/thin. rosenbergh (11760) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 19, 2015
16 oz can. From a grocery store in Honolulu, HI.a_sully (457) - - SEP 14, 2014
Slightly cloudy golden color with a small white head.
Apple juice, yeast, fruity esters and perfume in the aroma. Not a pleasant aroma. The flavor is not much better... mild yeast, perfume, some weird fruity esters and mild wheat. If the name wasn’t Hefeweizen I wouldn’t have recognized it... more like a weird fruit beer or something.
A cloudy yellow orange body with a light white head. Aroma of yeast, and wheat. Taste is light, hints of wheat and a touch watery.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2013 650ml bottle from Depot as Bad Hare Hefeweizen. Pours a clear golden yellow with no haziness to speak of. Bubbly white head dissipates quickly. Has the look of sparkling apple juice. Aroma is heavy on yeast, mild fruitiness (banana), very mild herbal note.. Taste is quite sweet, and doesn’t have the natural grainy tones of your typical hefeweisen. Sure doesnt look like a hefe, either. 16 oz. aluminum can from Fresh and Easy: Poured a hazy glowing yellow liquid with a frothy topping of foam head which retreated too fast for me to even admire it. Nose is decent with am obvious scent of wheat and some fruity esters however this also ends up smelling like a Mexican pale lager somehow. The flavor packs a strong punch of hay and wet grain/wheat that dominates the drink but isn’t exactly the most flavorful and almost tastes artificial. An okay attempt for an American hefeweizen/wheat but nowhere near being close to a true German Hef. kliggerwar (156) - - DEC 21, 2012
It was a good hefewiesen it’s aroma definitely lacked compared to Maisel’s Wiesse. I couldn’t taste any specific fruit taste in it. Definitely reminded more of north American beer then a European beer. Very carbonated. OK, but not great compared to all other hefewiesen s. reebtogi (6350) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 3, 2012
650ml bomber style bottle pours a golden color with a finger of white head that settles quickly and leaves no lacing behind. Aroma is grainy malts and light fruits. Taste is malty sweet with no detectable hops and hints of fruit and yeast. A very uninspired brew with very little going for it.
