On tap at the brewpub. The body was hazy dark amber with an off white head. The aroma was oranges with some floral perfume. The taste was some subtle oranges with some alomnds and toast. An excellent APA. gws57 (1276) - Saint Charles, Illinois, USA - APR 26, 2008
Had this one draught at the brewpub in Michigan City, Indiana. Hazy, dark orange pour with a thick white head, rosy hoppiness in the nose, very bitter taste with a citrusy hoppy character, orange peel, rosewater and some grapefruit, complex and bitter, great! sneagrams3 (2337) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAY 15, 2008
Tasted 4/27/08. Pt 3 of the sampler. Hazy with a dull golden hue. White layer of head. Caramel and hop aromas. Medium bodied with good hop dossage. Solid flavor and tasty! Nice hoppy bitterness. Tingling effervescnece. Crisp with a high drinkability. Solid session beer. Bright and really well crafted! Definite favorite from this joint. railcat1 (702) - Kissimmee, Florida, USA - MAY 7, 2008
I had this on tap after DLD and this was very surprisinly a good beer,it poured a dark orange with a nice hoppy kick to it and a thick white head that left a bitter finish and very tasty.CHEERS! TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAY 19, 2012
Draft on tap at the brewpub (Michigan City, IN). Quick stop in after a day in South Bend. Pours a well hazed golden hue, some amber elements, well carbonated with touches of orange glow on the edges. Small whitish head dies to a film, laces small as it rings. Aromas are touches of citrus, mellow tropical fruit, some catty hop elements. Florals, grass, gentle dry pale malts, bread. Initial is lighter bodied, offering a firm a firm dry bitterness up front, gentle melon ball, grapefruit juice elements, citrus zest. Dry and lively, firm rich grapefruit into the middle, backend. Grapefruit juice finish, bitter rich citrusy hopped. A bit underbodied, but I think that makes the hops even more dominant. A lot of grapefruit juice, oranges. Tasty, drinkable, fresh. A bit of a one trick pony. Not bad. Nose could be mroe active, flavors are on though.

Draft at brewpub. Poured clear copper color with medium white fizzy head that mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus hoppy aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Medium bitter flavor with a medium solid bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Solid drinkable brew. Cornfield (5569) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - JUN 3, 2008
This poured a hazy copper/amber body with a slender head. Surprizingly good lacework. It had an aroma of pink grapefruit, zest of lemon, caramel, and a touch of pine. Nice citric bitterness in the flavor, tipping the scale in favor of the hops over the caramel, grainy sweetness of the malt. Sessionable.MoDog (927) - Griffith, Indiana, USA - MAY 17, 2008

On tap at Shoreline Brewery and served in a shaker. This pale ale poured a chill hazed amber with a thin head of beige foam that quickly receded into a thin layer. Just a bit of lace. The aroma of the beer contained notes of citrus and pale malts. The flavor included mildly bitter grapefruit and orange along with a touch of caramel. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with light carbonation. A highly sessionable APA. RAYBOY01 (2010) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 5, 2008
Coppery pour, light PNW hop nose with citrus and pine, but very mild. Light caramel flavor, touches of biscuit and bread, light citrus/pine hop bite in the finish. APA on training wheels. BBB63 (6557) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - MAY 19, 2008
Tap: Orangy hazy hue with a small fizzy head and some lace. The aroma has notes of grapefruit, pear, pine, flowers, caramel, and biscuity malt. The taste has a mild hop bitterness and acidic fruity tone supported by the mat. The finish is slightly astrengent and chalky, a tad soapy too. The mouth feel is lightly carbonated and light to medium-bodied. An okay effort, sessionable.
