Savor 2015. Always make a point to see Short’s if they are there. Nice level of bitterness, nice amount of citrus. Hard to distinguish what type of citrus after a long evening at Savor. radagast83 (8137) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JUN 15, 2015
Somewhere between a 2 and 4oz draft pour at SAVOR 2015’s Saturday night session. Poured a clear pale golden c9olor with a small white head. Aroma was a blast of pine notes, some bready malts. Flavor was strong resin, pine, floral and a very decent balance of malts. Wonderful. firstsip (733) - Michigan, USA - JUN 13, 2015

This is a great example of what I like to term a grassy IPA. Golden hue minimal lacing. This particular sampling was a bit warmer than I have had in the past. Had this on draft in the 25oz. Size. Because of the boomba glass couldn’t smell it like i could in a true IPA glass although the taste is very unique. Had this first at Hopcat in Ann Arbor in a flight against some heavy contenders like Stone Delicious and a few others. This beer blew those away. Although I am not a big fan of most of The Short’s beers this one really takes the cake. The super clean fruity light pine flavor is fronted with a super grassy punch that most medium bodied IPA’s just can’t muster. A must try for any true Hophead!

Bottle dated 3/31/15. More fruit than hops. Has more of a grapefruit acid than guava. Tropical fruits. Slightly bitter. I was really thirsty and it hit the spot.
