Freedom of ’78 is a medium bodied IPA with a wonderful, bright clarity and pleasing bronze hue. The aroma is a unique fusion of citrus fruit and subtle pine qualities. The distinct characteristics of the guava nectar are impossible to miss, and attributes of tangerine, nectarine, and even faint honey flavors are detectable. The finish quickly turns to an expected IPA bitterness that turns dry during prolonged tastings

Bottled. Delightful. The guava is just light enough to be discerned. Great hoppiness.

Pours a nice golden honey color. The guava really stands out in the aroma, along with citrus and pine. Bitter on the front, with a solid IPA backbone. Bitterness lasts, but it’s not unpleasant. I like this one

Bottle: Cloudy yellow-amber with a thick, off-white head. Grapefruit, sour pineapple aroma. Very bitter....grapefruit-peel, pine taste. Sharp acidity and a ton of citrus. Nothing mild about this one.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop was served at a cool temperature and poured a head of foamy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were very long lasting and left behind a strong bubbly carbonation body semi-transparent orange colored body and a good lacing. The strong aroma was citrus. The sharp mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish with a strong citrus aftertaste. The strong flavor contained notes of citrus. A horrible one that I would rather not drink again. If I wanted to drink raw citrus, I would have eaten a Pink Guava.....Not! I couldn’t stomach it and poured it down the drain!

Rocky frothy white head. Passionfruit, mangoes and pineapples in the nose. Really nice. Medium full body. Smooth, slightly astringent not that bitter. Very fruit driven interesting

$2.50 bottle. Typical non BO IPA aroma. Ever so slightly cloudy pale. Redundant IPA flavors all round. Some co2 makes this IPA almost palatable. Bitter lengthy terribly on style IPA flavors. IPA flavor is so thick you can’t taste any guava. Difficult rude nasty bitter finish, just like any other IPA.
