Bottle from backlog notes. Pours a clear yellow golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malts, lightly toasted bread, for the abv big floral, herbal and earthy hops, light citrus, pretty tasty for a light session IPA. ebone1988 (2126) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - FEB 1, 2016
Aroma is light, tropical fruit, pine, malt. Appearance is amber yellow, white head, hazy. Taste is bitter, pine, slightly floral, some malt, mostly bitter hops. Mouthfeel is crisp carbonation but a somewhat creamy body, light to medium, with ad resounding bitter aftertaste. Overall, this isn’t quite right for the style but is still quite drinkable. chucklemation (1764) - Royal Oak, Michigan, USA - JAN 27, 2016
Pours a hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is pine hops and lemony citrus, along with some floral and earthy notes in the mix. Flavor is pine and more lemony citrus (one reviewer notes a soapy aroma/flavor, and I wonder if the pine/lemon combo causes that association) with grassy notes in the finish. A touch sweet up front, with a dry lightly bitter finish. This is quite a good IPA. BOSSbrewer (2705) - Arkansas, USA - OCT 16, 2014
Bottle at home. Pours a hazy yellow with a thin lingering heard. Aroma is grassy and earthy with lots of grapefruit rind. Flavor follows with more earthiness. Lighter bodied. Really nice beer.

Bottle: Pale straw, a bit of cloudiness with a huge, volatile, chunky white foam on top. Aroma with tons of grapefruit, orange, & citrus peel with a backing of perfume & floral notes. Back-end with some strange scent of dishwasher soap. Dank hop flavor, peppery spice, leaves, floral notes, & relatively abrasive bitterness. Not as much citrus on the palate, finishing dry as hell. I also get that strange dishwasher soap note in the flavor. It doesn’t completely kill things for me, but it turns what could be a good or great session IPA into something that’s merely decent.

Bottle. Was excited to try something new from Shorts as I was not a big fan of most of their stuff. Poured a pale, hazy golden coke with a quickly dissolving head with almost non lacing. Smells strong citrus. Initial flavor is very potent grapefruit with hints of flower pedals but is quickly crushed by an overpowering aspirin tongue burner. Severely disappointed

Nice clean crisp hop flavors and feel upfront. It had a weird after taste. Not sure of what. It turned me off a little bit on it but still a good beer. Homer321 (5194) - Melboring, Florida, USA - OCT 12, 2013
Bottle thanks to mike. String pungent citra hop nose. Fairly clear, golden color. Minimal head. Flavor is full of hops but not bitter. A touch thin and lacking complexity. Good but not grate.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 9/4/2013. Pours slightly hazy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big lemon zest, pineapple, orange zest, grapefruit, tangerine, pine, floral, grass, light honey, bread, and floral earthiness. Fantastic aromas with great complexity of hop notes with a fair amount of malt balance; and good strength. Taste of big lemon zest, pineapple, orange zest, grapefruit, tangerine, floral, grass, pine, bread, light honey, and floral earthiness. Large amount of pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, pineapple, floral, grass, pine, bread, light honey, and floral earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity of citrus/tropical hop flavors with a fair amount of malt balance; with no cloying bitterness after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish as expected of 4%. Overall this is a fantastic session IPA! All around great complexity, balance, and robustness of citrus/tropical hop flavors with a fair amount of malt balance; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A highly enjoyable offering. jbrana (640) - NASHVILLE, Tennessee, USA - SEP 26, 2013
Very light and very hoppy with flavors of tropical fruit, pine, and citrus. Overall kind if boring.
