2013 bottle. Wouldn’t really call it a wheat wine but a fruit beer. Smell is citrus juice and barley. Flavor is blood orange, malt, an pepper. It is good but could have done without the spice. BeerandBlues2 (13697) - Escondido, California, USA - MAY 26, 2013

Bottle… Cloudy burnt caramel ale with an orange tint and a small, short-lived, fizzy, off-white head. The aroma furnishes caramel malts, orange zest and juicy, fallen fuzzy fruits intermingled with wheat graininess and spiciness. Full-bodied and creamy with lazy carbonation. The flavor is fruity and lightly acidic with moderate alcohol and tales of peppercorns and orange peels. Finishes tangy, lightly bitter, raspy, and then quite dry.
