Bottle. Golden body with a short, white head, rapidly diminishing. Aroma of banana, light clove, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/sticky texture, lively carbonation. Light funk taste, but mostly banana. Lots of banana, actually lots of bitter banana.

Bottle courtesy of my friend Lance. Thanks! Hazy gold with a short, fizzy white head. Aroma is big fruit, yeast notes, soft malt and honey. Taste is fruity up front with honey, wheat, yeast notes, soft spicy notes and flowers. Body is medium with a moderate, prickly carbonation. Ends with more fruit, zesty spice, yeast, sweet malt and grassy notes.

superspak (5685) - Michigan, USA - MAY 16, 2016
12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 4/5/2016. Pours slightly hazy golden yellow color with a small fairly ddense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, apricot, banana, bubblegum, pepper, clove, honey, biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, citrus peel, and bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, apricot, banana, bubblegum, pepper, clove, honey, biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast spiciness and slight herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, apricot, banana, bubblegum, pepper, clove, honey, biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, citrus peel, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/spiciness balance and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Light dryness from yeast spiciness as well. Light-medium carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice Belgian pale ale style. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, citrus peel, and bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle: The aroma consists of citrus, honey, apple, banana, pepper, and clove. It pours a transparent gold with a one finger white head that fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. There is some tiny dotted lacing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with light-moderate honey and banana. The finish has light-moderate apple, bubblegum, clove, pepper, grass, and citrus peel. It’s light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel.
