Cloudy red amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma dominated by apricot hops, with spice and alcohol mixed in. Sweet and fruity flavour, with herbal, grass, apricot notes. Good hop bitterness, yet the sweetness gets cloying. thewolf (12598) - Kolding, DENMARK - SEP 20, 2008

Pours deep red with a nice, creamy, small, film head. Aroma is nice fruity hops, strawberries, grass and grapefruit. Nice, dry mouthfeel. Flavour is bitter, wonderfully hoppy with some caramel. Good pine and wonderfully fruity.
Bottle. [Drikkeriget Grand Shorts Imperial Series tasting, thanks to Jeppe for another great session] Average creamy off-white head that mostly lasted. Spare display of lacework. Light cloudy amber color. Aroma of grapefruit, chew peach, floral, grassy, citrus. Over the palate came some counter malty – caramel notes. Full bodied with a soft carbonation and mild alcoholic very dry texture. Heavy bitter hoppy flavor with some counter sweetness. Lingering bitter dry hoppy finish.

Bottle: I really enjoyed this IPA. Pours light brown with a fuzzy head. Heavy aroma of hops and citrus. Quite drinkable - the hops are not overpowering, but always in your face. sneagrams3 (2337) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - AUG 22, 2008
UPDATED: NOV 15, 2009 The Dan Journal #222. Tasted 8/7/08. 750ml bottle. Batch 297. Brewed 4/9/07. Bottled 5/15/07. #431/798. Wow, lotta information on the bottle. Hazy with a dark amber hue. Bone white moldy head. Big hoppy aromas with hints of honey. Resinous. Full bodied with a big alcohol note. Lotta citrus and a great rolling palate. Sticky hoppy finish. Solid! Thanks Keir. SAME BATCH, ONE YEAR LATER. Reddish hue and relatively clear. Trace off-white head. Sweet and woody aromas. Red esters and sweet grass. Full bodied with a sweet malt note. Nice bitterness and a sticky finish. Crisp and smooth. Pleasant astringency. Sticky, woody, and earthy. Mild burn. Very age worthy! Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 19, 2008
Pours a nice cloudy orange color with an off white head. Aroma is some citrus hops and some balancing sweet malts. Flavor is also lots of citrus hops, but it seems that some have disipated into the malt. I wish i would have tried this sooner, but still decent. lassem (652) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 8, 2008
Cloudy amber/light brown body with a fine light-brown lasting head. The nose is really hoppy and a bit sulphurous. The taste is full of hops and yeasts - not much complexity. The finish is dry and bitter and in the very end there is a deep bitterness deep down the throat - Linda Lovelace go home!!! The palate is relative light and makes it more drinkable compared to many of its IPA-brothers that makes you look like a chickens ass because of the dry bitterness from the extreme hops TURDFERGUSON (4058) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - AUG 5, 2008
Bottle shared by eclectic at BCTC. Thanks Kevin! Pours a deep orange with a thin white head. Nose and flavor of citrus, pine, and caramel malt. Pretty straightforward double ipa, not to take anything away from it.
