4oz on tap at HopCat East Lansing during the Shorts tap takeover. Nice, somewhat clear brown color. Thin tan head. Couple loos bits of lace, nothing sticks. Nice earthy, herbal, spicy hop aroma in the nose. Some brown sugar. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of soft / crisp carbonation, light dry finish. Good bigger bitter, light sweet. Great hoppy brown. Lightly spicy, some brown sugar. Tasty, interesting IPA. koleminer20 (3469) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - AUG 24, 2013
HopCat in East Lansing. Pours a little bit of a reddish brown, not the most desirable color. The aroma is very bland. A tiny bit of hops. Maybe a smidge of malt or barley. The taste is also bland. There is a bit of hoppyness, but a lot of distinct flavor. The mouth empties of it quickly, and leaves a bit more to be desired bpar73 (1117) - Bellaire, Michigan, USA - APR 22, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Dark brown pour with a tan head. Aroma of pineapple and maple syrup. Roasted malt flavors and smokiness, and light fruity hop flavors. Nice balanced bitterness in the finish..
