• Sexy penetrable fruit intensity for the experienced and novice
• Beer Type: High Gravity Ale fermented with blueberries, strawberries and blackberries

Imperial Soft Parade is a gourmet specialty pour that is brewed with toasted rye flakes and two-row malted barley. Loaded with pureed strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries, we refer to this fermented potion as a fruit infused rye ale. The result is a refreshing fruit delicacy that’s easy to drink, appealing to look at, and finishes dry.

deyholla (12034) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - FEB 28, 2010
Sampled from the bottle at the 2010 February Circle City Tasting. Poured a hazy reddish orange with a slight brown hue and minimal head. Flavor was full of sweet fruits including strawberry, cherry and a bit of blueberry with a slight tart undertone. Flavor had the same berry flavors and was sweet, but was balanced by a hint of tartness and alcohol.

MI2CA (1340) - Noblesville, Indiana, USA - FEB 27, 2010
Sampled at Feb 2010 Indy tasting - Aroma is loaded with berries, fruit roll-up and Wonka Runts fruit candy. Flavor is sweet berry candy with a real sour fruit back. Palate is sticky and tart. The berry flavor is so strong and overwhelming, I just couldn’t get into it.

illidurit (2354) - San Francisco, California, USA - FEB 23, 2010
Bottle from the free table at Woodshop 5.0. Pours a light muddy brown color with a smallish beige head. Striking berry aroma/flavor with blackberries and blueberries especially. Additional notes of caramel, chocolate, and dark bread crusts. Alcohol is undetectable and I was shocked to see this was 10%.

daknole (11050) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - FEB 22, 2010
Ruby pour, pinkish head. Aroma is loaded with berries, stone fruit and honey. Flavor is fruity and pretty nice. Creamy mouthfeel, some yeast and bready notes are in the background.

Onslow (1522) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - JAN 9, 2010
Reddish pour form a 12 oz bottle. Nice aroma dominated with fruit. Pleasnat flavor with a definate ale-ness to it. Nice.

skoll (420) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - DEC 28, 2009
12 oz bottle Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a medium sized pinkish head. The aroma was very fruity; strawberry, blackberry, blueberry, thrown together and mixed with a touch of sugar. The flavor opens with the same burst of fruit; berries that have been freshly picked, mild sweetness, and a slight herbal quality. Midway the fruits fade and the finish is dry pale malt and slightly bitter. Medium-full bodied. The alcohol hits you at the finish.

illinismitty (2271) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 30, 2009
Bottle from Eastman Party Shoppe in Midland MI. Pours a ruby amber with a huge retentive pale pink head. Nice one dimensional berry aroma. Medium bodied with a fine Belgian like carbonation. Perhaps a little on the thin side. You sense the malt on the tongue, but the dominating flavor is raspberry and strawberry, but without the sweetness. Slightly acidic finish has some green apple and tea. Alcohol very well hidden. This reminds me of home brewed fruit beer.

Radek Kliber (7470) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - OCT 20, 2009
Bottle 750 ml
Appearance: murky , muddy brown with off brown mid top , some carbonation noted.3+
Nose: great well presented aroma , fruity with light tartness , dried green apple with prunes , hint of bubble gum , berry with cherries. 7+
Flavor/Palate : thin bodied as fruit brew go yet with decent depth of flavours. Fruity with sugars , hint of molasses with raspberry inside. Alcohol is very well covered – only noted as slight burn at finish. Sublime.

Nice beer, orangy amber color nose is subtle, very fruity, all the berries. flavor is similar subtle Lotta fruit with a nice sweetness that’s not cloying, some bitterness on the finish really really drinkable. can’t figure where the booze is but it would catch up after a few bottles im sure

Sammy (12616) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 15, 2009
Bottle from the brewpub. Pinkish colourwith malty head. Looks more strawberry, smells more blackberry, tastes more blueberry. Berry tasty for a fruit beer, very drinkable. I grows on you too. Above average mouthfeel. Some thick lace. One I would have again.
