Huge fan of soft parade! Perfectly balanced beer with berry notes. Hints of strawberries, blue berries, blackberries and raspberries. Super refreshing radler! Fruity/syrupy aroma, beautiful hazy red pour with a thick white head. Brix (714) - Roedovre, DENMARK - JUN 3, 2009
Tasted 2009-06-02. Pours orange, hazy with almost no head. Very fruity and very malty. A somewhat bitter finnish. The fruityness and the maltiness blends together very nicely leaving a strong aroma of strawberries (which is like the only berry in the world, that’s not actually in this beer). It’s very drinkable and very enjoyable. hopdog (13260) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 30, 2008
750ml bottle acquired in trade with hoppymeal (thanks!). Bottle # 228/1005. Poured a medium to deeper and muddy reddish/purplish/brownish color with a smaller sized head. Aromas of lots of different berries (strawberies, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries). I would get a different berry every time I sniffed. The berries were done nice! Tastes of the same berries with some light rye bread in tehre as well. Light tart finish. Good thing I like all the types of berries in this one. Cletus (6368) - Connecticut, USA - MAR 5, 2010
Pours pinkish amber with a nice sustained head. Aroma is dominated by berries, some dry malty hints, floral notes. Tastes of pronounced berries, some dryness, some funky undertones with a dry finish. watchman146 (4) - Michigan, USA - APR 19, 2010 does not count
High gravity beer offers an intensity of taste and appearance. The passionate mauve coloring, and the smooth taste disarm the drinker but without the dissipation of similar big market beers. Soft Parade has a medium sweetness that compliments the full body experience, ending with a long finish. Very enjoyable beer that is one of the best premium brews offered by Short’s.

from erzbierschof.ch - cloudy reddish-brown colour with a poor foam left; a very fruity and pure nose where blueberries dominate; notes of strawberries and blackcurrants too; light notes of vinegar bring a nice combination; sweet and slightly acidic, medium to full malt backbone; juicy palate and with a moderately dry finish; some lingering acidity in a long and deep fruity finish (blueberries again) - sumptuous
