Appearance: Bright medium golden. slightly hazy. Thin ring of white bubbles.
Nose: Sweet, tart, sour. Citrus, melon and limes
Taste: A tart lemon-lime with candy sweetness. Elements of juniper and quite sour.
Body: lighter with lively carbonation.
Parting thoughts: A very unique and unexpected beer. definitely on the sour spectrum but the botanicals and sweet aspect were different.

hazy pale and sparkling from a can. weird metallic nose. probably more like a shandy or soda drink, not SHV. different and unique yet still retains an almost shandy or berleiner attitude about it. some repulsive lurks in side but i can't find it, stays hidden throughout the session. Metallic nose keeps sticking up its fingers into my olfactory. I'll go with a 156 over 72 with this brew which has tonic water added. Very different. Not really sure if the majority of this is really beer. Stupid label BTW. zubblwump (118) - Michigan, USA - SEP 26, 2017
Aroma is very mild. I can really barely smell anything. Maybe it's the tonic water. Super light gold, lots of carbonation. Lots of floaties. This taste was a surprise. Different, and really pretty good. Mostly sweet with a touch of tart citrus on the side of the tongue. It's more like a hard cider than a beer, but it is tasty. Taste: complex, semi sweet, dry tonic mouth-feel, Juniper and coriander spices in background. Lime and citrus with fermented fruit nose. Gold, mostly clear, delicate white head with ring of lace. Medium to med/lite body. unique, and kinda refreshing, super dry, lime. wlajwl (7065) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - AUG 28, 2017
Aroma is lemon-lime, almost lemonade. The flavor is lemon-lime, fruit, mildly sweet in the middle and a tart/carbonated finish.

12floz bottle dated 07.01.2017 (BBD? BOD?), ~$1.75 unit cost, poured into a large snifter glass. Not very impressive looking; gold with floating particles and barely any head. The aroma is very much lemon-lime juice, and tastes like it was inspired by a gin cocktail - lime, botanical, and simple sugar finish. An interesting beer on the sweet side. D aft at Elijah Ps. Yellow with a green tint. Lime and salt to start. Juniper grows. This drinks like a cocktail, which is the intent. An interesting concoction. koleminer20 (3976) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JUL 29, 2017
From notes. This one was enjoyed at the MGB Summer Beer Fest 2017. The pour is a pale darker yellow, looks pretty watery, with a lack of head and lace. Oh boy, this looks a mess. The aroma is interesting. There is a light spiciness to it, a hint of lime citrus, and a ton of salt on the back end. This is like a gose gone wrong. Whoa. The flavor has a little more coriander in it, which is not something I like. The juniper and the citrus bring it back around where I don’t hate it, but this is definitely not my thing. The mouth feel is lighter and clean with a soft carbonation and a lingeringly salty and citrusy mess, Ugh. 6 3 6 4 13 slowrunner77 (12804) - Reno, Nevada, USA - JUL 8, 2017
this golden ale starts out a little malty in the nose for a gin n tonic wannabee, but opens up nicely to be a refreshingly spices unique ale. tmoreau (4631) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - JUL 6, 2017
On tap at the Beer Cellar in Glen Ellyn, IL., and snifter served displaying a hazed, yellow/straw color, a layer of white froth that reduced to a persistent ring, with patchy foam as lacing. The nose was sweetness, gin & spice, lemon/lime, with a bit of apricot. The taste was similar, light to medium bodied, with spritzy carbonation, but near cloying, Kool-Aid-like sweetness. Tartness & tanginess saved the moment, along with some rind-like astringency to finish it off. Cider & shandy-like refreshment, low abv., but one was enough.
