Draft to taster. Looks solid; malty though. A transparent lighter copperish orange with foamy off-white head. Smells hoppy with notes of citrus and Belgian yeast, and some sweetness from the malt in the backbone. Tastes like it smells, but less hoppy and balanced, with a medium-bodied mouthfeel. A decent BIPA that smells better than it tastes. 574deadzone (1415) - North Central, Indiana, USA - NOV 23, 2014
Pours a hazy orange with a fair khaki head that settles to a thin ring and leaves intricate, spotty, soapy lace. Nose is awesome and involves a fuzzy, dusty, spicy yeastiness, sugary stone fruit, tropical notes of pineapple, and cake donuts. Pretty sweet, somewhat tart, quite bitter. Full bodied, oily, bright, fair action, crisp, drying and puckering with bitterness, with a long doughy yeasty finish. A good example of when a Belgian DIPA goes right. Wish I had a whole 6pack, that’s how much I liked it. DocJitsu (1972) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - NOV 22, 2014
Pours a murky orange-golden color with a short white head. Faint belgian bready notes on the nose. Some piney hope as well. Heavier mouthfeel with nice carbination. Subdued flavor’s that approximate the nose. Very well-blended. Fun brew. blackflag321 (689) - Lansing, Michigan, USA - NOV 22, 2014
Shared bottle, poured to shaker. Big nose of citrus mixed with Belgisn yeasts. Belgian candy sugar with bitter, sticky finish. nimbleprop (8280) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - NOV 21, 2014
12oz bottle via Mystery Box BIF. Pours a murky, orange amber with some lacing white head. Nose has honey and guava, some ripe pineapple, some candy sugar, mango, a little clove. The Belgian yeast is definitely lurking. Flavor has loads of ripe pineapple, guava, mango, some mild clove, a little grass, some green banana, a lot of yuzu like bitterness, even some kumquat. Plenty of honey and candy sugar too. Full bodied, sticky, bitter finish. Liked this alot. Made me thing of On the Wings of Armageddon with Belgian yeast.

Bottle. The pour is a little hazy vibrant orange. The aroma is nice sweet hops. The taste is top notch. Hops bring out a nice pleasant hop profile. Clean finish. One of my favorite from Shorts.

12 oz bottle: Aroma is a pungent fruit hop texture with tropical fruit the most prevalent. Appearance is a cloudy orange pour with a thick white head that lingers around for quite a while. Taste is very tropical fruit hop forward, not really bitter, sweet with a almost fruit beer quality. Belgian yeast is noticeable, but it’s really tasty. Palate is fruity and somewhat clean. Overall, I don’t know what the last review was talking about. This is an enjoyable beer that surprised me. Cheers! zedarian (4) - Michigan, USA - NOV 5, 2014 does not count
Seriously? Who likes this? This is just harsh, hot alcohol, bitter, hoppy nothingness. Slightly citrus flavor but after that, it looses any sense of definition and just remains a harsh bitter beer. Not good at all, and I generally hate giving any craft beer a bad review. jtw (1163) - farmington, Michigan, USA - NOV 1, 2014
a lovely brew - pours a copper golden color with a simultaneously hoppy and bright yeast nose. malt and orval notes sit above an intense liquid. no brett but this exhibits complex character, almost enough to question if this is some sort of dry-hopped and rebottled orval. i hope this stays on as a regular from Short’s. jakubekj1 (1) - USA - OCT 31, 2014 does not count
Aroma: faint scent of stale dog fart. Got stronger as the brew warmed to room temp. Taste: over salted rotten deviled eggs (but I enjoyed it very much) Palate: like you just huffed a fart. Overall: if you like farts you will like this beer! I highly recommend this offering.
