Nice sharp opening, followed by a bitter kick, and a pleasant finish that continues to satisfy in the continuum.
Bottle courtesy of my friend Lance. Thanks! Amber pour with a short white head. Aroma is fruity and floral with sweet malt notes. Taste is fruity and floral up front with light caramel and sweet malt, some citrus peel and hop resins. Body is medium with a soft, bubbly carbonation and a moderate lingering hop bitterness. Ends with more fruity notes, floral hops, citrus, sweet malt and soft caramel. Tropical fruit on the back end as well. JPDIPSO (6216) - Wauwatosa, USA - JUN 21, 2016
Bronze color with a tallish heavy cream colored head. Decent lace. Floral hops dominate, but underneath are some light citric scents and they don’t quite cover up the green corn silage. Once I found the silage, that is all I seem to be noticing. Interesting flavors as I am greeted by rye bread, nutmeg and peaches. The bitterness comes and adds to the allusion of sucking on a peach pit. Interesting flavors and spiciness and in some ways they work and in others I am left confused on what I am to be trying. A different type of APA that’s for sure. Extra point or what I will assume is originality, but I may be being to generous. 5/10

Pandemonium is the tenth studio album by Killing Joke released in June 1994 under the Zoo label. This album marked Killing Joke’s return after a four-year-long hiatus, the longest the band has taken since it was initially founded. says Wikipedia. Bottle thanks to DrSilverworm - my first thought as I sipped it was, "a hoppy wheat ale?" My second impression was, " vinous notes?" and my standing impression is, " I wish this time stamp was readable since it might make a difference on this style of beer." Not getting much in the bitter department even for 36 IBUs. rouhlas (3584) - GREECE - DEC 23, 2014
330ml bottle at home. Golden orange color with off white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, hoppy, citrusy fruity. Taste is sweet and bitter, malty caramel again, more hoppy than the aroma, citrusy fruity, floral. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. b3shine (8795) - Indiana, USA - NOV 27, 2014
Bottle to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a mostly transparent pale burnt orange with eggshell head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of bitter hops and bittersweet malt. Tastes like it smells with a touch of fruit and a medium-bodied mouthfeel. Not bad. lukedarock (246) - Howell, Michigan, USA - NOV 22, 2014
For not being much of a looker and not much of a smell this beer sure packs a punch in the pale ale taste along with a good abv that is extinguished by the watery mouth feel this beer isn’t bad hangunder (305) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 27, 2014
Smells decent but not that complex, some pine, sweet malt and biscuit in the nose. Looks nice, hazy effervescent golden with a thick white head. Tastes alright, upfront more sweet malt and a hint of citrus/pine although muted, finishes sweet malt and a bit of muted citrus. Medium bodied and average carbonation. Unremarkable pale ale.
