6/3/12- Pours a copper color with a 1f white head. Aromas of bits of mango and lemon. Starts of light and creamy, with light carbonation. Touch of bitter orange rind followed by mango and orange marmalade. Lingers, but dries in the mouth leaving behind some piney bitterness. A lovely pale ale that approaches an IPA notes without the bitterness. Need to find more of this.

Ashley’s: I thought this was a very solid pale ale. Poured a hazy orange-cedar with steady lacing. Bit of citrus, grapefruit rind with a mild bitterness and impressively clean finish. I would seek this one out again.
Bottle courtesy of dmschefke. Pours a deep copper/red with a thin white head. Smells of roses, caramel, some earthy hints. Tastes of earth, some citrus, sweet sugary hints withe a light, bitter finish. KingCecil (2086) - DENMARK - SEP 30, 2010
Fra flaske, dejlig duft af hulme sød/krydret .....flot lidt grumset men gylden farve med medium hvidt skum.... smager dejligt humlet ! medium fylde ......i alt en super dejlig american pale ale ! holdenn (2116) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 15, 2008
On tap at Short’s. Pours a hazed copper with an off white head. S weet caramelized and charred malts (that seem to be a house flavor) with a strong essence of pine. Sweet caramels and toffee flavors that are balanced with grapefruit and pine. The glacier hops bring an interesting fresh layer that’s piney and almost spearmint like. Finishes bitter, fresh and just delicious. Great pale ale.

This was a beautify looking beer! Massive egg-shell white head that was rocky in the extreme and miniscule layer of copper colored liquid for the first few minutes in my Surly Pint glass. A well balanced aroma of hops and malt yields to a mildly sweet malty body with a huge citrus hop head and a nice, lingering bitter tail. satan165 (1020) - River Grove, Illinois, USA - MAY 22, 2010
aroma is fresh bread, peaches, very pleasant malt profile. appearance is dark hazy amber, ring of head and zero lacing. flavor is light hop sizzle with soft malt sweetness caboose - caramel and more fresh bread. thin, sessionable mouthfeel. total success. cancerhawk (22) - - DEC 12, 2012
Great aroma. Tastes similar to most hoppy ipas. Maybe a little sweeter than most ipas. Really bitter. marv3mania (185) - Lansing, Michigan, USA - JUN 11, 2013
12 oz. bottle poured into a tulip glass. Appearance is a rich golden-orange color with a moderate off-white head which dissipates quickly. Aroma is intense bitter citrus and floral scents. Taste is a semi-sweet malty flavor mixed with the bitter hops one would expect from a pale ale. It has a very smooth feel without much carbonation, leaving a dry feeling at the back of the throat. Not bad. Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - JAN 12, 2008
UPDATED: JAN 13, 2008 On tap: The aroma consists of caramel, fruit, and grapefruit hops. It’s a hazy amber with a small white head which leaves behind a nice thin sheet of lacing. The flavor starts with caramel and light fruit. It finishes with a well balanced grapefruit hoppiness with a touch of vanilla. Light-medium bodied with soft carbonation. Very nice session beer.
