tap at 2015 michigan winter beer fest. Golden orange with small head. Citrus forward IPA. Some fruity tartness buried beneath bitter hops. Pretty well balanced with excellent flavor. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - MAR 1, 2015
Tap: Amber, hazy body with a creamy eggshell cap. Huge, semi-tart blood orange with tons of dank pine, hop oil, & resin. Pretty sticky & lots of bitter earth with a strong, ashy pine note that gets balanced by the sweetness & slight tartness of the juicy blood oranges. Dry finish, lingers with orange & pine. Really nice! j12601 (12982) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAR 17, 2011
On tap at Sunset for their Shorts event prior to EBF. Pours a clear orange gold with a thin white head. Toast and hops on the nose. Sweet and toasty. Big long bitter finish. Probably one of the more bitter beers I’ve had in a while, but not unwelcome after a couple of the syrup bombs we had. HonusWagner (2209) - Florida, USA - MAR 16, 2011
Orange juice like sweetness on a pretty solid if not strong hop nose. A pretty good pale ale, a bit on the sweet side to have more than one or two, but the flavor comes through really clearly. On tap at Sunset Grill. Tmoney99 (14769) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 23, 2010
Draft sample. Poured clear ruby golden color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy floral earthy hop aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy bitter & sour flavor with a moderate to heavy bitter & sour finish of medium to long duration. Interesting beer, but not my style.
