ruddy brown body from the tap at the pyramid scheme in gr mich. strong artificial strawberry, lactose and caramel. flavor is very similar with added, but not really all that well in the sense of drinkability

notb draft pour has a somewhat ruby color and a dollop of head. aroma has mild berry, cream, and some sweetness. mouth feel is medium but a bit odd in creaminess. flavor has strawberry jelly, vanilla milk, and sweetness. a little awkward but certainly unique.

Reviewed from notes. Pours a very hazy amber-brown color with a thin off-white head and not much retention or lacing. The nose carries through a bit of strawberry and other berry character plus a bit of light cream. Really sweet. Too much so. The flavor is also supremely sweet and doesn’t get enough body, which I was thinking of when I read "milkshake." Some bread and berries plus a touch of cream. Way too sweet and not enough true strawberry character. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 05-17-2011

Draft at EBF. Pours a cloudy ruby body with an off whit head, looks like a puree of fruit. Raspberiess, and strawberries iwth a grain y sweeteness. A mild berry lingering and some candied tones. Not a bad offering, but not what i would think of when i think strawberry milkshake either.

Another good attempt at something that I had high hopes for. A let down in the sense that it just didn’t blend well. Had that strawberry flavor but tasted kind of rotten. Had a creaminess but caused an odd mouthfeel and was fizzy on the tongue.

Another boozy and sweet mess from a brewery that usually makes good tasting boozy and sweet messes. Again, too much time in the barrel, although at least here there were traces of strawberries.

Sampled from the tap at NotB. Poured an opaque amber brown with a tan head that dissipated slowly to the edges. Aroma had a strong note of candied strawberries with a creamy note and a hint of sweet grains. Flavor had strong candied strawberries with a sweet creaminess and an earthy sweet grain backing. Tasted slightly artificial, but did remind me of a strawberry milkshake.

Pouring at the Night of the Barrels at EBF. Pours a hazed dark brown with a thin beige head. Old strawberries, fuzzy yeast, strawberry seeds. Toast and roast. Odd, tasting like bad strawberry jam. Has a big extract sweetness to it. Bad jam. Overall way too sweet.
