COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Strawberry Short’s Cake is a golden ale. The addition of strawberries and milk sugar transform this beer into a rose colored nectar that has hints of cream and is pleasingly sweet. Biscuit flavors and aromas arise from the great amounts of Victory malt used in the brewing process.

Bought a couple singles to taste: The strawberry aroma is strong with sweet sugars, good beer with a medium mouth feel to it but the strawberry is not overwelling and not much hops on the finish. This would be a good desert beer but I’m glad I only bought 2 of them A six pack would take me a long time to drink.

Bottle from bulldogp04! Reddish orange pour. Frothy off white head. Aroma is remarkably similar to the name. With just a touch of honey and beer noticeable. Flavor is sweet with the flavor of the damn name. Holy crap. A tiny bit artificial, but still this stuff is crazy. Fun beer and good. Kudos for the balls to brew something like this!

Growler. Hazed medium amber pour with a thin white head. Bready, sweet, strawberry rich aroma. Very nice strawberry flavor, like a good Italian soda without the syrupy feel. A bit bready with a plain popcorn flavor in the background. A nice, approachable fruit beer.

Draft and bottle back during RBSG 10. Pours a deep amberish with a pinkish thing that I might be imagining. Nose is fantastic. Strawberry is very dominant and lovely, some bready malt components and a vanilla note. On tasting, lightly tart but the strawberry maintains its composure and affords a great balance to the creaminess and sweetness of the beer. Bready graham cracker notes as well. Awesome beer.

Interesting. Pours a reddish rust color with minimal white head. Aroma is strawberries and candied sugar. Taste is tart strawberries, bread, and a milky finish. Medium carbonation and light to medium body. Really enjoyed all of the flavors.

Pours a pinkish copper color with a white finger of fizzy foam. I have to say this beer does smell like strawberry shortcake... Some sweet strawberry syrup, breads cake notes and some vanilla creaminess. The palate follows the nose... Fucking right. If your gonna call a beer strawberry shortcake, this taste like strawberry shortcake. There is a touch of seltzer like background that cuts through the sweetness a touch but I’m pretty impressed by this.

Tap. Sort of a golden-amber. Bit of head. Smells vaguely of strawberries. Solid mouthfeel. Tastes of real strawberries, bit of breadiness. Definitely tastes like its name, and without being too sweet!
