Bottle. A dense, two-finger dark beige head forms over reddish dark brown body. Nice lacings. Roasted, almost burnt aroma with a spiced and hoppy touch. Some dark berries too. It’s a bit too carbonated I think, medium to full-bodied and quite smooth. Lightly acidic, with roasted malts, dried fruits and a pleasant bitterness. Lasting finish with raisin notes and a good bitterness that lasts, of both the hoppy and roasted kind. Certainly a nice one, maybe not the most true to style schwarzbier, but good. 120324 Dedollewaitor (16539) - Odense, DENMARK - NOV 9, 2011
