Bottle. Deep amber/ruby body. Fizzy, off-white head, diminishing. Aroma of caramel, maple sugar, raisin, plum, wood, alcohol, nuts. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Peppery alcohol finish. Taste of bread, overripe fruit, maple syrup. Interesting beer. Sweet flavors balanced by the alcohol.
750 ml bottle and draft from notes. Pours a dark caramel brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, caramel, maple syrup, a decent nutty character, earth, hint of dark fruit, abv was not present, I had this fresher so probably enjoyed it more than people that had older samples. On tap at Hopcat. Pours brown with a hit of red. Booziness overwhelms everything in the taste. Thin mouthfeel. ebone1988 (1925) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - JAN 24, 2016
Bottle shared with koleminer20, the last out of Dumpster Day box #1. Aroma is booze, nutty, slight maple, malt, not much else. Appearance is reddish brown, light brown head. Taste is barrel, booze, maple, pecans, malt. Mouthfeel is medium body and crisp carbonation, barrel aftertaste. Overall, this is no good. wmubronco1992 (709) - Coldwater, Michigan, USA - MAY 30, 2015
Bottle. Off white head. Pours a very cloudy brown. Aroma of booze and sweet nuts. Taste is a bit harsh with plenty of alcohol. Interesting beer, but the maple syrup makes it a little too sweet for my liking.

Bottle at home, thanks to Debbie. Pours a dark amber brown with a thin off white head that quickly dissipates. Flavor is sweet, malty and caramel. Not really any maple or nuttiness that I noted. Still, a nice beer. Bit boozy. chucklemation (1684) - Royal Oak, Michigan, USA - MAR 31, 2015
Pours a hazy brown color, no head. Aroma is caramel, brown sugar, and booze. Flavor is sweet caramel, booze, and a nutty finish. Decent, but not too memorable. flatmatt (1576) - Northville, Michigan, USA - MAR 17, 2015
12 oz bottle. Pours a murky caramel brown with an off-white to light tan head. Candy fruit aroma, moving into nutty molasses and more fruit aroma, general bubble gum tone to the whole thing. Quite nice. SpongeRuiner (1114) - Michigan, USA - MAR 12, 2015
Pours a deep foggy brown color almost mud like. With a light tan colored head. A raisin filled almost boozy aroma. Very nutty. A mild light taste and feel. A lot of maple syrup flavors and more nutty notes. A stronger carbonation overall. Different and decent. Not my go to for these specific flavors.
