On tap. Pours a medium golden. Taste is hops, some light citrus. Seems better suited as a summer beer. Wouldn’t have guessed mustard. Not a fan. ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - OCT 15, 2012
On tap Birch & Barley Wash. DC. Pours a pale bright clear yellow color with a small white head. Aroma is grassy hops, funk, and a hint of the mustard seed. The taste is a lot more mellow than the smell, almost sweet and grassy with doughy herbal finish. Very light bodied and smooth.

Sampled from the tap at the 15th annual MBGSF. Pours a near clear pale yellow with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has some light grains and grassy hops with the mustard seed as well. Flavor has a lot of sweet grains with some mustard seed coming out but there really isn’t too much there. Draft at the brewpub. Hazy dirty yellow-brown body, thin off-white head. Weird mustardy nose with lemony hops notes. Spicy, mustard seed body with bready, dry malts, biscuity and a tad prickly. An interesting experiment. Tmoney99 (14501) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 1, 2012
Draft sample. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Moderate spice and floral aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium spicy sweet flavor with a medium spice finish of moderated duration. Refreshing complex beer.

Draft. Poured a translucent yellow color, small white head. Aroma was sweet notes, a touch of spice - mustard escapes me but I think psychology was at work here - I could tell something was in there, and it had to be the mustard, but without knowing I’d have just guessed generic "spice" was in here. Flavor doesn’t help all that much either - a touch of bitter spice, not a whole lot else going on here - typical Pilsner I suppose. Travlr (24913) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUN 10, 2012
Draft. Hazy yellow color. Aroma of subtle bitter straw. Taste is bitter hay and light spice. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUN 9, 2012
Draft. Small white head, clear apple juice body. Aroma is moderately sweet, perfume/flower, light corn. Taste is moderately sweet, perfume, flower, some bread, straw, light grass. Light-medium body, some stickiness. No sign of the mustard seed.
