One of the best bulgarian beers! Known as Shumensko Premium Beer you can drink it mostly everywhere in Bulgaria.
29-11-17 // 500ml can from a local Bulgarian market in Mainz. Clear golden, small head. Pale malty, boring macro lager. macca147 (761) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - NOV 22, 2017
500ml can. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head. Mild grass and sweet malt notes. Weak aroma. Mild sweet malt and citrus flavours. Thin bodied. High carbonation. Not dreadful, but not much better than dreadful. koshack (2017) - Gdañsk, POLAND - OCT 8, 2017
Zapach nie jest zbyt intensywny. Głównie słody, jest nuta chmielowa.
W smaku słodkawe.
Lekkie w odczuciu. Ma wyraźny słodkawy posmak.

Thanks Pasca for this beer that you gave me from your country after your holidays. I tried this can in my room hotel in Paris. In my point of view, it is a classical lager, nothing sexy but it makes the job to
be refresh. The color is yellow/gold, normal carbonation, thin and white foam. The taste is standard, a bit metalic, malt, hop, there is a side watery, easy to drink. Nordcore (1698) - Lyngen alps, NORWAY - AUG 7, 2017

UPDATED: JUL 24, 2017 Larnaka 20/7 2017. 50 cl can from BG-Zaria Mini market (Bulgarian outfit). Bulgarian text on the can but also a roaring lion. ABV of 4,8 (not 4,6). Pours clear yellow with bubbly white head. Settles as flimsy remnants of foam. No lacing. Aroma is sweet malts, grains and light fruity, sour notes. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by a more distinct bitterness. A little rough. Aftertaste is bitter with some burnt rubber thrown in. A relief with an Eastern European pale lager which is not sweet and flat. But I could do without the burnt rubber. Pinball (12601) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 12, 2017
can from bulgarian supermarket in chania. clear yellow, small white head. Faint sweet malty aroma, not much of a hoppy balance.
flavor is bitter industrial hoppy, balanced by mild malts. in other words a typlical macro lager, just a bit better than the discount ones, but a good distance from the craft ones. I cannot place the reason exactly, but this one remins me of san miguel. MarcoBasile (467) - DENMARK - JUN 7, 2017
Pale golden body with a white frothy head.
Aroma is light, but there’s notes of some grassy hops. And all of the usual suspects: pale malt, grain and corn.
Taste is slightly bitter and malty. visionthing (5602) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 25, 2017
50cl (4,8% ABV.) as a gift. Pours clear pale yellow with a minimal, white head. Mild grainy aroma with hints of fruits, grass and cooked vegetables. Sweet and grainy with mild grainy flavours and hints of acidity and bitterness. Fairly standard industrial pale lager. biir (1686) - Berlin, - MAY 2, 2017
Tap in Sofia, sitting outside. clear golden color with white head. taste is like a typical lager, not overly sweet, high carbonation, empty taste. okay day-time refresher.
