The beer is a pale gold, typical of euro pales. Sweet character in the nose with a touch of grain. Slight metallic twang. Maybe a touch of canned corn. A bit of floral hop, but then covered up again by sweet character.

50cl Can from a Bulgarian shop. ABV is 4.8%, label only mentions 1882, no Premium whatsoever. Clear golden colour, dense white head that diminishes fast. Aroma is not so nice, skunky, cheap, ugh.. Flavour is way better, soft, medium sweet, light malty, touch of honey, fruity, very light-bitter finish. Light-bodied, smooth. Went down well, but smells awful.

Can 50cl. as Shumensko 1882, from Nansi Bulgarian grocery shop, Zaandam. Clear pale golden, small frothy white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing; aroma sweet malts, grain, hint of grass; taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grainy, aftertaste mild sweetbitter, malty notes; light body, watery to oil texture, soft carbonation; ordinary lager but clean and drinkable.

Pinball (12332) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 12, 2017
can from bulgarian supermarket in chania. clear yellow, small white head. Faint sweet malty aroma, not much of a hoppy balance. flavor is bitter industrial hoppy, balanced by mild malts. in other words a typlical macro lager, just a bit better than the discount ones, but a good distance from the craft ones. I cannot place the reason exactly, but this one remins me of san miguel.

Bottle from Christian Nielsen, the Vampyre. [Odense Tasting.]
Well, here is some of the fluid which runs into the black sea, but maybe not this summer, when the degrees hit around 45 C. Good in the heat!

Clear goldblond coloured beer with small white head and lots of carbonation. Herby hoppy aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is herby ending dry and bit bitter.

reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 19, 2015
Pours clear gold with a medium white head. Aroma is mild but has some slightly skunky grass and straw. Flavor has a bit more grass and stale hoppy spice...mild but not too bad. Mouthfeel is light / medium and the finish is dry and mildly tangy/grassy/skunky.

Plastic Bottle 2ltr: Clear golden colored brew with an faintly sweet bitter taste. When open the cap an grassy flavor i smell, like most East-European Lagers. Decent thirstquencher, mine first Bulgarian tick. Bought the bottle at an Bulgarian Shop with the name Supermarkt Nansi Zuiddijk 93, Zaandam.

Ordinary lager. Mild bitterness at the end. No distinguishing aroma. Appealing color.
