COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer was inspired by the concepts evoked in Saveurs Gastronomiques de la Bire, a two-book boxset written by Martin Thibault and David Lvesque Gendron. It is, like all the beers brewed for this book, not brewed to any specific style, only aiming at specific flavor profiles. This beer was an exploration of the geraniol (floral) molecule in certain hops as well as an attempt to have the driest 100% malt beer possible (90% attenuation was reached). Dominant flavors: Flowers, greenness, citrusy fruitiness, grapes. Main ingredients: Pils malts, Bravo hops, Belgian yeast.

In short: A sessionnable toasted blonde ale. Decent beer.
How: Tat at Vices & Versa, Montreal.
The look: Clear dark blonde body topped by a persistent medium white head.
In long: Nose is toasted and somewhat floral/perfumy. In mouth the beer has a comfortable pillowy body with medium carbonation. Taste is toasted biscuity malts, dried fruits, dry tree bark sensation, herbal/flowery hops, mild resin notes. Clean easy to drink beer that didnt make a lasting impression. This is my opinion about this beer, and not only am I the best beer rater on this website but Im also the smartest and sexiest person in my compulsive liar support group.

On tap at BDT (Gatineau, Qc). Light amber body with a thin white foamy head. Good malty/hoppy aroma with piney hints. Taste carries piney, herbal, and citrusy notes. Ends with a decent bitter/herbal finish. Enjoyable.

The guy at the bar said this was a hopfenweisse, but it kind of tastes more like a Belgian ale to me. Soft carbonation, some hops and what tastes like Belgian yeast to me. Pours gold with ok head and lacing. Finishes with light sweetness. Well-balanced. Tap at BDT in Ottawa as guest.

On tap @ Le Bateau de Nuit (Qubec). Clear yellow/golden with a huge fully lasting off-white head and heavy lacing. Aroma is really floral with belgian yeast, light nuts(?) and fruity notes. Taste is floral and yeasty with fruity notes and light some malt sweetness. Medium body. Intense/sparkling carbonation. Dry mouthfeel, but somewhat oily too. Super drinkable and refreshing. Nice experiment! A really fun one to try!

On tap at Bateau de Nuit. Clear gold pour with thick, heavily sustained ultra-lacy white head. By the end of my glass, I had a solid sheet of foam coating it all the way around. Aroma of rose/hibiscus, quite floral, light biscuity malt notes, hints of basil. Taste is slightly bitter, biscuity, malty with a perceptible sweetness that obviously isnt from malt. Palate is sparkling and very refreshing. The best of the series.
