(Rating #7860)

Ounces on tap at Bières et Saveurs. Aroma: hay, lemon, papaya, Belgian yeast giving some spices character.,really herbal. App : cloudy salmon, small to medium white head leaving little lacing. Taste and palate: light body, astringent finish. Overall: just ok. Wouldn't give this beer a good medal for sure.

On tap at the Jacques Cartier location. Lightly hazy gold pour with a slab of lacy white head. Aroma is potent and fresh, fresh herb notes, grassy hops, spicy belgian yeast, light wheaty lemony aroma. Taste is light, fresh, dry with nice grassy bitterness. Palate is light bodied but not watery, good carbonation. Super fresh and refreshing, well done.

czar (9412) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 8, 2017
on tap on the premises - saint-laurent location. slightly hazy pale yellow pour, gold tint, with a small creamy white cap offering some retention and lacing. tropical fruits, some citrus zest, softly sulphuric, very pale crackery and still fruity cereal maltiness, spicy and zesty belgian yeast strain. almost bright carbonation, light body - kind of watery; drying tropical-citrusy finish. pretty solid and very nice sessionable modern tropical belgian ale.

Tap at the brewpub: Poured a golden color ale with a nice foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet Belgian style malt with nice citrusy hops notes. Taste is also a mix of sweet Belgian style malt with fruity ester and nice dry citrusy malt notes with limited bitterness. Body is about average with good carbonation. Well brewed, refreshing and enjoyable.

A golden ale with a thick creamy white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light floral hops, grapefruit pulp, fruity esters, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with smooth citrusy floral hops, citrus fruits, light catty notes, very nice. On tap at Soirée des Brasseurs 2015.

(Growler bu en bonne compagnie) - Des céréales bien franches, des agrumes finement tranchées, des élans de basilic aux flancs mentholés... et un sacré plaisir à remplir discrètement mon verre, à l’abri des regards, pour une deuxième rasade.

UPDATED: NOV 5, 2017 My Bottom Line:
This hoppy Belgian-style Ale is an elegant display of floral and citrusy hops, cracking cereals and fruity esters, in a bubbly and refreshing mouthfeel.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the misty white.
-Drinkability is sky high.
-The finish is nicely spicy and herbal.
-This is a beer I always get when I have a meal at Siboire.

On tap at all three Siboire locations (Dépôt, Jacques-Cartier and St-Laurent).
