Well well this does taste familiar indeed. Very nice fresh wheat beer, banana, citrus, clove, but all balanced and quite tasty . Woulsd have been good to have a Dennison’s to follow and truly compare (maybe tomorrow) If anything this version was perhaps a tad sweeter in the finish, not my preference. Nicely done overall

In a can from the LCBO, got to start with I love Weisbier This one is very decent, pale colour, head is good but not as condensed as some Euro vesions. Smelt lots of Banana, but tasted light citrus ? Shop local this one is world class.

Don't get the high rating on this. Average hefe. Subdued aromas of banana and grains. Slightly sweet and tangy flavours. Banana citrus and a bit of a hop bite at the end. New Glarus dancing man wheat is way better.

Hazy yellow pour. Aromas and flavours of banana and clove. Nice hefe but I think it would have been even better if I had let it warm up a bit. Definitely drank it too fast

I read an article from a Beer magazine taken at the Cassel brewery recommending that here over a few Canadian others. It is good at first, let it warm a bit, and then the flavours hit you. Success.

Tap at Bar Hop, Toronto, 9th July 17. Pours a hazy straw colour. Aroma is yeast, citrus, banana, marzipan. Taste is clean, refreshing citrus, yeasty, marzipan. Lovely

On tap at Arriba restaurant/bar in the Renaissance hotel at Rogers Centre in downtown Toronto. Pours murky yellow with spritz white head and lacing. Aroma: clove, banana, yeast, lemon. Flavor: all the above; malt-forward; dry, yeasty finish. Mouthfeel: light- to medium-bodied.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a medium, frothy, long lasting, white head that laces. Sweet aroma of wheat malt, banana, yeast and clove. Sweet fruity flavour of banana, lemon, yeast and wheat malt with light clove in the finish. Light body with a creamy, watery texture and soft carbonation. The body is a bit thin for the style but is still quite refreshing and tasty.

Gold pour, huge head. Like, half the glass. Loads of lace. Classic Bavarian wheat profile, banana, wheat, lighter clove, yeast in the aroma and taste. Medium body. Nothing much has changed from the Dennison days which is fine by me.

A very nice beer, great for the style, and very affordable and easy to get in Ontario. A beer that can easily be skipped when thinking of German style wheat beers from Germany...but this competes with the best of them.

Can. Complex floral and orange citrus aroma. Pours with a cloudy dark orange colour and quickly disappearing head. Good amount of carbonation. Orange and yeast sweet flavours. Medium body. Touch of bitterness in the finish.

Bavarian wheat beers are my favorite to drink, and this beer is king of Bavaria. Best served ice cold and in a glass, to bring out the aroma before sipping.
