2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Poured a mid gold with a decent head that faded to lace. Aroma was of sweet malts and grains. Taste was of malts, grain, and heavy alcohol. It seems very similar to LaCrosse lager which is produced at the same plant. Palate was decent. Overall, not too bad but nothing to write home about.
This shit is fucking amazing. There are very few beers where I’d rather not drink anything than drink that beer and this is one of them. It’s sweet and sticky, heavy w/ loads of weird nutty and overripe berry notes from oxidized malt. This is pretty much disgusting across the board. Steve_0 (3745) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 7, 2015
40 at Adnielsens pre-wedding bash. Pour is clear orange with a big white head and good lacing. Corny, doughy, grassy, green apple, and grapes in the aroma. Taste is ethanol, corn, green apples, and dough with a lot of alcohol on the backend. So fucken good. Ibrew2or3 (8660) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - MAY 9, 2015
Classy clear glass 40 pours with a thin clear pale gold body that supports a tiny white head. The aroma offers up an estery mess of sweet apples and pears and then a sliver or two of corn flowing into boozy table sugar. The taste is similar and it gets harder and harder to drink the deeper you go into that 40. So it’s all sweet with honey covered apple wedges and pear like juiciness that’s balanced off by a slight corn flake sort of cereal sensation and then modestly sharp booziness. All in all not bad for a 10.5% boost vehicle. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - APR 28, 2015
Gold pour, white head. Thanks(or no thanks?)to ibrew2or3. Sweet, corn, grain, artificial crap. Bleh. beechner224 (1024) - Melbourne, Florida, USA - MAY 17, 2014

40 into snifter. Bottle thanks to sooner. Brilliantly clear pale golden orange, no head. Sweet, malty, corn adjuncts, no notable skunk. Sweet, lightly boozy, some light malt character but overall too sweet. Homer321 (5116) - Melboring, Florida, USA - MAY 15, 2014
Fo’Ty shared by AndrewCat. Pours a very clear yellow with a white head that dies immediately. Aroma a like sugar water with some fruit. Like a jolly rancher. Taste is just as sickening sweet. Lots of fruitiness too but no significant alcohol presence. deyholla (11759) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - FEB 3, 2014
Can. Pours a clear yellow with a gold hue and a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has lots of sweet grains and corn with an odd light fruit note. Flavor is similar with sweet grains and corn up front with sweet light fruits in the finish. 3fourths (9349) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 8, 2013
Bottle. Clear gold with a small white head. When the pour is fast and vigorous you get some soapy and floral yeast esters which settle quickly out into a corn and alcohol and red apple malt stew. Super sweet and sticky corn syrup / candy corn / pale malt extract syrup / other ingredients. surprisingly not hot or fusel or alcoholic or gross, not in that way. the malt is disgustingly cloying and syrupy and the red apple flavor / smell lingers for far too long. brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 8, 2013
Big fucken 40 @ MJ’s house. Clear golden pour with a white head. Corn, crappy apple cider, and booze. Grainy. Really sweet. Flavor is intensely sweet. Tons of apple cider, grain, and corn. A bit boozy, lots of grape, and sugar. Not the worst malt liquor, and at least it’s very high boost.
