Enjoyed at a tasting at Brian’s house on February 08. 375 mL bottle. The pour is a lighter golden orange with a thicker white head that falls away quickly without any lingering lace. The aroma is full of tart grape skins, a light must, and a hint of juiciness. There is a beautiful wine character to this and a light oakiness from the barrel. It’s balanced, not overly sour, but tart with just the right amount of funk. There is a hint of some funky spice on the back end, but it’s alright. The flavor is even better. The grape skins are more prevalent with a beautiful tart sourness and a lingeringly oaky barrel-induced funk on the back end. The grape flesh throughout the flavor is just fantastic. The mouth feel is light and clean with a softer carbonation and a lingeringly funky oak and tart grape skin with a light bit of flesh on the aftertaste. Jeebus, this is fantastic Klimaet (3131) - Aarhus N, DENMARK - MAR 25, 2016

Bottle (375 ml) at home. Split 2-ways. Clear bright golden with a small bubbly ring of white foam leaving no lacing. Aroma is of loads of white grapes along oak, buttery notes, moderate spiciness, hints of acetone and a tiny bit of alcohol. The first sip is extremely puckering but it’s much more acceptable after. There’s both the sweetness and the fruitiness from the white grapes along with brettanomyces, oak, mild to moderate spiciness, buttery notes and again hints of acetone. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Puckering finish. Rather unbalanced and way too puckering to be enjoyable. The spiciness fits well with the white grapes. It probably suffered from the comparison with the masterpiece that is Gin Clara we had side-by-side though but this one is still an average beer at best. knickskicks (1168) - - NOV 26, 2015
Yellow/orange pour. Nose is brett, wine barrel, and acetone. Taste is huge acetone, so sour, some grape but just so bracingly sour. Pretty disappointing. ctipping (2299) - Florida, USA - NOV 18, 2015
375 mL bottle. Originally reviewed 3/23/2015.
Hazy orange body. Small white head. Thin collar.
Lots of grape on the nose. Musty. White wine is strong. Acidic and woody.
Taste is sour. Sour white grapes. Oaky. White wine builds into the back.
Medium light. Not as strong as other Side Project sours.
Finally, a pleasant sour from Side Project. Lots of grape, but not that intense on the sour.

Bottle... Pours cloudy and yellow with a fleeting white head. The aromatic standouts are white wine and oak. Medium-bodied with busy carbonation. The flavor is an enjoyable balance of sourness and fruitiness. Only a tad woodsy and funky. Finishes tart and dry. Bottle courtesy of landhoney! thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 9, 2015
(375ml bottle) slightly cloudy medium gold, fine white bubbles.Nose of chardonnay, white wine grapes, grape must, touch of funk and sour. Taste is SO full of fruit, grape must, chardonnay, bright grape flavor, lightly tart, almost like someone took a beer and added a fruit syrup to it. Bottle at Dustins birthday bash. Pours a hazed yellow. White head. White wine notes throughout, some nice tart structure with just enough malt to keep this very drinkable. drfabulous (9004) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - MAY 30, 2015
From the bottle. Musty nose and some sweet wine aroma. Body is sweet and sticky. More like a Missouri wine than a beer. jcartamdg (3539) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 7, 2015
Pours a hazy gold with no head. Aroma of white grapes, wheat, oak and funk. Taste is tart, sour wheat, pineapple, white grapes, oak and funk. Very nice.
