My Chardonnay barrel fermented, Blonde American Wild Ale that has been aging for 18 months in oak that was then aged on Turkish Apricots specifically for this event. Same base beer as Fuzzy, but with Apricots instead of Peaches

Bottle at Side Project Cellar. 375 mL. The pour is a bright golden yellow with a thin ring of white head and a spot or two of lace as it falls down. The aroma is sour apricots and a beautiful oak and pit. The sournis huge, but the fruit is equally amazing. The flavor is even better. Fruit flesh and a big sour before a pit and light oak come rolling in. The mouth feel is crisp and clean with a great sour and a bright carbonation to go with the big time fruit and just fantastic dry sour on the finish. Hell. Yes.

The fruits give an off trashy dumpster-ish flavor, the base is thin and overly tart. Not really a fan of fuzzy so I guess this falls to the same issues.

375 ml bottle to stemmed glass (Blend #2). Looks good; a cloudy lemony mango with white head that steadily dissipates into thinner lacing. Smells good too; a nice balance of oak and funk up front followed by a nice apricot presence. Tastes like it smells with a tart and mildly to moderately acidic medium-bodied mouthfeel. Tasty.

Unclear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, tart, apricot, peach, light funky, fruity. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light acidic and moderate bitter with a long duration, tart, peach - apricot, fruity, funky. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [email protected] 2016 (Blue Session). Hazy orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is extremely fruity, with apricots, some pineapple kind of notes as well as some slight sour wooden notes. Flavour is a nice sweet meets sour thing, with apricots coming in really well. Surprisingly refreshing.

CBC 2016 Blue session. Hazy orange body with a small white head. Aroma of apricot, funk, white wine. Taste is sour, fruity, tangerine and apricot, grapes, srong lactic yoghurt finish. Dry and smooth, very sour.

[5/13/16] Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016. Blue session. Hazy yellow. Lovely fresh funky fruity aroma, with lots of apricot. Sour flavor, kinda acidic, with funk, apricots. Medium-bodied. A bit too acidic, but still very nice.
