Tasted on 2/7/14 from a capped 750mL bottle at the Friday night tasting at RBWG Asheville, big thanks to phaleslu for sharing this gem. Pours hazy dark yellow with an average khaki head that leaves an average collar of lace. The nose is dusty, dry vinous white wine, fruity gooseberry, maybe a touch of pineapple, and some lemon. The flavor is quite sour pineapple, white wine vinous, lemon, and a touch of vanilla. The body is medium with grippy tannin, and a long sour pineapple finish.
Bottle shared during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours clear, rich gold with a frothy, white head. Moderately tangy, with ample lemony tartness. Just a little bit of plastic. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more tangy lemon character. Not bad overall. rxeight (3084) - Illinois, USA - JAN 3, 2016
750. Thanks jlopez for sharing. Murky yellow orange. Light sour oak. Lots of Brett. Unique stuff for side project. Doesn’t have the intense bright acidic sour, more funk and oak. markextrae (4424) - Alingsås, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - DEC 18, 2015
bottle shared at our big bottle share tasting. there was some kinds of thick weird stuff under the cap. pretty weird. wiped it off and we where good to go. no signs of infection. poured a deep orange colour with a smaller white ring on top. nose is really tart upfront, notes of spiced brett, grapes, white wine, funk, wheat, peach and juicy apricots, more sweet fruits of mango, and pineapple. and that typical funky horseblanket notice, and crisp malts. taste is a good combination of sweet fruits and tart notes. had to say that i was expecting more sourness. some bitter stone fruits pits, and a strong white wine influence. i really liked it. there is a stronger brett notice. but it’s very well balanced. nice and full bodied. nice and creamy aswell. ctipping (2065) - Florida, USA - NOV 20, 2015
750 mL bottle. Originally reviewed 9/8/2014.
Deep orange. Medium white head.
Smell is musty and bretty. White wine. Some toasty malt.
White wine is stronger in the taste. Buttery and a bit of vinegar up front. Brett is strong, too. Toasty malt.
Medium body. Moderate sourness.
Good, but doesn’t blow me away like I expected from the reviews. mcberko (17898) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 22, 2015
750mL bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma almost smells like an unblended lambic, with funk, leather, and tart citrus. Flavour isn’t as lambic-like, with citrus skins, light leather and stale cardboardy notes. Cohesive and well-balanced - certainly unique flavours. Interesting, though not terrible intriguing.

This bottle was left for us at the RBSG Grand Tasting by Will. It poured a brown gold with no appreciable head. Nose of funk. Brett rules here. Medium plus in body. Flavor is full of stone fruit like peaches and apricots. Maybe tangerine. Wood even. Very complex flavors and exceptionally tasty. Great beer. Feel lucky to have gotten a chance at this one GothGargoyle (2587) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 20, 2015
Orange with a pale head. Aroma is dried peach, funk, dried apricot. Medium bodied, tart on the palate with a big overripe fruit finish. Taste is dried peaches, dried apricot, mango. jredmond (8288) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 13, 2015
Bottle at Bills. Pours a hazy body with soft white lacing. Mouthfeel is tart and soft with notes of indoor swimming pool, cherry pie, sour peach, tart apricot, additional tropical fruit, funk and nice acidity. drfabulous (7956) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - MAY 30, 2015
From the bottle. Light muddy look in pour. Funky nose. Dry in mouthfeel. Apricot. Very good. knickskicks (1162) - - MAY 25, 2015
Copper pour. Tart yogurt and funk on the nose. Bracingly acidic, not very complex.
