Wild fruit, sour apricot, ith malty base camp. Earthy notes on the finish, barnwood and hay permeated through entire experience. Wonderful beer. daknole (11050) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAR 2, 2014
Holy hell. I mean holy fuck. Yeah, this one is the shit. Cloudy yellow/gold with a nice white head. Flavors are complex and dance all over the tongue. White wine, leather, lemons, plain yogurt, earthy spice, barnyard. I mean damn...this is a work of art. merc7186 (3142) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - APR 11, 2014

This is quite the winner. Pours copper / orange with a light haze and a tan head. The aroma has berries/cherry, lacto sourness, oak smoothness, some milk caramel and smooth bugginess. It comes across very bright and lively. It has a medium crisp body with fairly soft carbonation. The flavor starts with oak, lemony citrus, tart cherries and earthy bugginess. The bugs and tartness are nicely balanced with the oak and toasty malt. The finish has the nice smarties aspect and a big citric bite. It is quite complex and very enjoyable. phaleslu (10553) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 22, 2014
750 ml bottle from Keir- thanks again, Keir! Pours a mostly clear orange-gold with an off-white head that settles into a lasting ring. Aroma of lemon, wood, grass, earth, and leather. Acetic and funky. Flavor of lemon, grapes, yogurt, leather, oak, pear, and tart candy. Funky, not quite as acetic as the nose. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a tart, dry mouthfeel. Another excellent one from Side Project.

Bottle shared at Dunt’s Tasting (Chicago, IL). Pours a nice deep copper orange hue, firmer haziness with frothy offwhite head atop. Good stick around and lacing, some nice glow and colors. Aromas are tart, gentle wine barrel and oak meet decent funk, touches of mushroom, fruity tartness, bread and gentle wine barrel. Touches of berry, red wine and mellow citrus. Really inviting. Initial is a bit fuzzy, decent lactic slant with vanilla, yogurt and wine barrel, more white wine with fruit, delicate nuance than the nose let on. A bit spritzy, fuzzy and tart with wine grapes, citrus, oak. Touches of gentle pear, wine barrel. Backend is a bit more dry and sour, some decent lactic elements hangs on. Touches of firm tannic presence, oranges, wine barrel and cranberry. Really tasty, really well put together. The sour slant really works well for me. Touches of gentle yeast, coolness, funky brett and wine tannins hang on a bit. Nice, fruit and complex, sour without being overdone. Masterful work. hopscotch (11182) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 3, 2014
Bottle… RBSG 2014… This beer doesn’t cheat death. It wins fair and square!… Pours cloudy and amber with a mid-sized, creamy, white head that doesn’t give up. It’s in it for the long haul. The aroma furnishes lots of funk and loads of wood along with some herbal notes. Full-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and airy carbonation. The flavor is a collection of sour, funky, woody, fruity and vinous notes – pear, pluot, apricot and white wine. Tons of wet wood in the tart, tangy, funky finish. World class beer from a world class brewery in a world class city! jrob21 (3774) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - OCT 16, 2014
Shared with the crew as part of BA Cake mega trade year 2. Very acidic and tart. Incredible nose with a lot of fruit, mainly peach. High on the sour spectrum with some fruit agian in the flavors. As it warms the fruit, pear, lemon, peach, apricot come out a little more. Big and bold and really one of a kind. markextrae (4460) - Alingsås, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - DEC 18, 2015
bottle shared at our big bottle share tasting. there was some kinds of thick weird stuff under the cap. pretty weird. wiped it off and we where good to go. no signs of infection. poured a deep orange colour with a smaller white ring on top. nose is really tart upfront, notes of spiced brett, grapes, white wine, funk, wheat, peach and juicy apricots, more sweet fruits of mango, and pineapple. and that typical funky horseblanket notice, and crisp malts. taste is a good combination of sweet fruits and tart notes. had to say that i was expecting more sourness. some bitter stone fruits pits, and a strong white wine influence. i really liked it. there is a stronger brett notice. but it’s very well balanced. nice and full bodied. nice and creamy aswell. Bottle at recent tasting, thanks to Dice! hazy gold; tart, funky fruit nose; sweetened cereal with juicy fruit -- tart fruit loops? Balsamic finish. Quite nice, and a great way to start the day!
