750 mL bottle. Hazy pinkish red body. Smells of cherry pie, spice, and some plastic. Eh. Tastes of a nice cherry flavor up front. Nice fruity sourness. Oak. A little plastic and rubber in the back end. Kinda ruins it. Medium body with medium carbonation. Not Side Projectís best. rouhlas (3580) - GREECE - FEB 26, 2017

Enjoyed at a tasting at Brianís house on February 08. 750 mL bottle, Blend #5. The pour is a nice medium pink color with a thin head of light pink itself and no lace as it dissipates, with haste. The aroma is really funky right up front. Christ. There is a good crisp cherry sourness happening, but itís lighter than I would like to see it. There is a lot of funk, some barnyard, and a light horse blanket on this one. Itís got a little bit of a sweet fruit on the back end that I wasnít expecting. The flavor is much of the same. There is a light, tart cherry up front, with a hint of oak and a lingering funk that just doesnít quit. A little horse blanket makes its way in from the back end and creeps over. This isnít as tart or sour as I would like to see, but itís still good. The mouth feel is lighter and crisp with a softer carbonation and a lingeringly funky cherry on the back end. I would like this to be more tart and sour, with less funk, but itís a good beer nonetheless.
