Bottle and tap, multiple times. Served in a wine stem each time. P: Body is a nice, hazy pale orange with two fingers of white frothy head. Some lacing, and the head recedes to a nice film. S: Forward white wine and buttery oak, with some funk, eathy yeast, lemon rind, and light citrus. T: Tart lemons and citrus upfront, that quickly evolves into a vinous white wine. Toasted, buttery oak throughout. A nice dose of funk through the back half gives way to an abrupt dry, vinous finish. M: Nicely carbonated. Medium tartness, and juicy through the middle. Finish is bone dry. O: A delight to drink, and one of the best wine barrel saisons I’ve had the please to have. Intensely flavorful, but a joy to drink. jcartamdg (3436) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 27, 2014
Pours a hazy yellow with no head. Aroma of oak, citrus, funk. Taste is sour, white wine, oak and that good old Belgian funk. JStax (6478) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - MAY 20, 2017
750 ml bottle from phaleslu. Thanks! The beer is a glowing gold with a white head of foam. The aroma has notes of apricot, wood, vanilla, tropical fruits. Sour and fruity for days. Strong stone fruit. Medium body and medium carbonation. Beautiful beer. Thanks again Pedro. Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - MAR 3, 2014
Many glasses on tap at West Lakeview’s Zwanze 2013 event. Can’t believe this didn’t kick immediately. Really beautiful notes of lemon and light acidity. Some pineapple and white wine. Gorgeous mouthfeel. Outstanding. jredmond (8283) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 9, 2015
Sampled at FOFA15 with Linh, Paul, Vin and Al. Pours a deep hazy orange with thick, active white lacing. Mouthfeel is essentially perfectly balanced between tart fruits, sour oak, and faint mineral character. Incredibly tart and beautifully sour with the funkiness perfectly controlled. Marvelous sour saison and one of the best offerings of the festival.

batch 3 bottle shared with a friend. poured a beatiful murky deep yellow golden colour with a nice white head on top. nose is incredible and unique in it’s style. a nice clear funky brett aroma in the nose, dusty, and crisp malts, the wine oak and a nice subtle sweet aroma, combined with sweet white grapes chardonnay, yeast, lemon pulp, and sweet green melon. there’s a slight tartness of funk in the aftertaste. I was expecting more to be honost. but the balance is on of a kind, with no alcohol notice. with a nice clean dry finish. one of the better beers in it’s style. fantastic beer by SP, had to come back at my rating after i’ve cracked the fruited versions Bule (2160) - California, USA - JAN 31, 2016
Taster at Ratebeer best. Pours a golden color with a bit of head. Blend 3. Perfect amount of funk and sour. Citrusy.

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2014 Sampled at Midwest Belgian Beer Festival. Pours a cloudy golden color with white head. Funky, yeasty, wet blanket aromas. Barnyard, cheese, yeasty flavors. Delicious beer. This was the standout beer at Midwest Belgian Beer Festival in my opinion. Godofthecellar (677) - NYC, New York, USA - OCT 30, 2013
Wow, delicious. Flavor and smell of stone fruit, brett, wine barrel and pepper yeast, well balanced, reminded me of a BA hill farmstead saison daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - DEC 23, 2013
Lightly hazed yellowish/orange pour. White head. Man this is good! Stone fruit, wild grapes, yeast, plain yogurt, lacto sourness, lemons, tart and puckering, juicy and awesome.
