Intensly hoppy pale ale, bursting with the scents of Aussie and American hops. Brewed with the addition of wattle seeds and smashing any ideas that low abv, means low flavour, and will drink like a beer twice its strength. Your new favourite!

Aroma - lot of malt, herbal and resinous hops, green bitter herbs, some unripe yellow fruits, a bit of sourish lemon juice, yeasts. Taste - bitter, with lot of herbal hops, pine needles, unripe fruits, grapefruit zest; high carbonization. Good bitter beer.

One of the worst beers i have ever had. Was way over carbonated, way past drinkable. Over carbonation made i impossible do decipher any other characteristics of the beer. That said, you can tell this was far form the described "Intensly hoppy pale ale"

Bottle at Hair of the Dog, Bangkok. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is big grassy resin hop, grapefruit citrus. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a big resinous hop, tart citrus, light pepper spice palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Where did the hop bucket go? I think I know the answer to that one!

On tap at Nomad, pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out citrus and floral hops, backed with biscuity malt. Flavour is quite spicy, with lots of spicy and citrus hops, with a dry crisp crackery malt, with a light astringency on the finish. Quite nice stuff.

Buona tenuta della schiuma note caramellate che lasciano spazio a sentori erbacei e fruttati dei luppoli

Super cheap at £1.15 (!) from Drinkmonger, Bruntsfield, Edin. Pours slightly hazy. Fuzzy gold colour. Off-white head that’s in no hurry to leave and some good lacing. Nicely fruity nose. Kiwi fruit stand out. Musky in the glass as it warms a bit. Nice creamy carbonation. Gives the taste a citrusy, sherbet note. Bit of spice. Sharp on the palate towards the finish. Some solid bitterness and a dry. astringent end. Wee bit rough around the edges overall but a drinkable drop. And a total bargain!

Bottle from Cornelius (for £1!). Clear pale golden, big head, very fizzy. Nose is grass, citrus, light caramel. Tastes fizzy, quite thin but hoppy bitter, light floral. Doesnt stand out.

BOTTLE. Hazy gold with a huge froffy white head (lost a bit of beer just opening it).. Floral hoppy nose, musk sticks as well.. Bitter hops all over, some grassy notes, maybe a touch of butterscotch malt?? Sourced Cellarbrations @ capel

SeniorZozo (1589) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 1, 2016
Tasting session @ Budapest. Love the style - low malt - hop dominant - light body = refreshing - bitter finish which lingers very pleasantly - good flavour for 4% - fantastic quaffer on a warm day like today.
