Bottle in Lima. 7%. Soapy bright head, darkest amber body with plenty of light coming through. Immediate skunky nose and wet nose. Thin, fizzy body. Distant fruity caramel and touch of roast. Rather sweet, and light bodied, with some cocoa. Not enjoyable at all. Dry cardboard mixed with cloying sweetness, not enough dark notes or roast. Similar to Cusquena Negra I must sadly admit.

Una porter muy de manual, correcta pero no aporta nada especial. Hubiese agradecido un poco ms de cuerpo.

From a 33 cl bottle in Aquas Calientes Peru. Poured a gusher -- black with a tan head. Lots of little dark floating bits. Aroma of coffee. Flavos of burnt toast. Bitterroasted finish.

Bottle split at the Cotteridge Bash, 24/01/15 thanks to Rilester for bringing me this one back from his travels. Light black with a moderate light beige covering. Nose carries a touch of plastic, light charr, chocolate. Taste comprises toffee, charr, light cocoa rub. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Rather whelming, possibly under.

24th Jan 2015: shared bottle at the Cotteridge Wine meet. Poured a very dark brown with a tanned top of foam. Coffee and chocolate aroma, taste the same, this is all about the malts with very little hop influences. Not bad at all.
