12 oz. bottle from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Just a little amber hue under this black beer. A lighter tan head leaves only a little lacing. Aroma and flavor are milk chocolate and roast. Beginning of the sip is the chocolate and the finish is roast. There is also a good bit of alcohol noted. The coffee sometimes is more like chicory. I also get plenty of earth and orange rind. Ron’s wife Melanie points out licorice. Towards the end of the pour it begins to taste like bourbon and the alcohol adds to that. hayduke (5205) - Eureka, California, USA - MAY 13, 2017
Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Poured black with a tan head. Nose of milk chocolate and coffee. Full body. Smooth mouth feel. Alcohol tasted. Flavor is rich roasted malts with lots of chocolate. Finishes coffee bitter. Licorice appears. Quite good. Lubiere (13911) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 11, 2016
A deep dark stout with a thin dark brown head. In aroma, loads of dark sweet fruits, vanilla chocolate, light coffee and molasses, alcohol warmth, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with loads of vanilla, dark fruits, molasses, alcohol warmth, light coffee grind, musty character, very nice and silky. Bottle at home. Pours opaque black with a medium, frothy tan head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is roast, chocolate and coffee malt with prunes, figs and dates, light earthy and pine hops. Flavor is heavy roast, chocolate and coffee malt, light earthy and pine hops and bitterness, prunes, figs and dates with a sweet finish. Full body and medium carbonation. nuplastikk (6276) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 14, 2015
12oz bottle. 7.2% Imperial Stout huh. With the weak art on the label and my previous experiences with Sierra Blanca beer, I’m not expecting much. Chalky chocolate aroma, dry, unimpressive. Sugary, syrupy, malt extract type feel. Drinkable enough with the low ABV. Watery body, thin.

12 oz bottle as Alien Imperial Stout. (Little A’le’inn) Rachel, NV.Itzjerm (2866) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - APR 16, 2015
Dark reddish brown colour with a small tan head.
Weak bready and toasted malty aroma with mild sweetness.
Sweet berry hops, alcohol, molasses and roasted malt in the flavour. Strong and heavy.
An average imperial ipa. Vanilla yeasty on tongue and on nose. Otherwise an average imperial stout. Nothing special. Cool art and bottle cap

Pours a clear dark brown with a light brown head that leaves some soapy lace on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, light coffee, light plums and dates detected with a small floral hop aroma. Taste is roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, bitter cocoa and some sweet dried fruits on the finish. The sweet fruits give it a porter character but there is definitely enough roast and chocolate to tell this is a stout...on the lighter side of most imperials today however this is still well balanced with it being a touch on the sweet side however it has a range of flavors that make it complex and delicious.
