A brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with dark fruits, Bock like. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with dark fruits, mineral notes, a bit boring, very German. On tap at Downtown Brew fest LV 2013. daknole (11048) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - OCT 18, 2012

Clear dark brown color, tan head. Sweet, sugary scent. Sweet, apple taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.
Drat at ABQ brewpub. Pours brown with a thin khaki head. Not much on the nose. A bit syrupy and thick on the tongue. More sweet malt than anything else. Not getting any nutty notes anywhere. Eh! SudsMcDuff (8541) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - AUG 6, 2012

Poured into a pint glass. Brown with a good finger of dirty white head. Lots of bubbles visible.
Good smell of roasted malt and the "nutty".
Tastes of roasted malt, a little chocolate in the background and mild bitterness at the end.
Smooth texture, lots of bubbles, medium body.
A good brown ale. A little more of a creamy body would make this better for me, but it was enjoyable nevertheless. deyholla (12583) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 8, 2012

12oz bottle. Rating #59. Nice looking beer, dark amber/red color with a light tan head. Kind if a metallic aroma and a light nuttiness. Light flavor, more nuttiness, decent. (1847)
