We have blended eight different types of barley to create this amber ale. It appeals to the largest segment of craft beer drinkers who enjoy a smooth, malty ale with no hop bitterness.

Not as good as it looks. Had a great head and dark color out of the bottle but its taste didn't live up to its appearance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours amber from the bottle. Aroma is caramel, light toast, but in fairness the smell was overwhelmed by the chlorine from the hot tub. Taste is mildly sweet up front with a mild bitterness at the finish. Body is medium. Overall rather dull.

Nothing to exciting to the taste buds, rather simple amber ale. Extremely cool label. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ Home. Darker amber colored beer with a small khaki head. Smells like chlorine, cardboard, and caramel. Maybe some toast? Flavor is just crappy caramel sauce, cardboard, and prune juice. Super sugary, sweet, and oxidized. Flat, slick mouthfeel isn’t helping anything. Garbage juice.

Thanks to Joe for the bottle. Musty aroma. Medium body malt sweetness with just a touch of hop bitterness.

Taste: caramel malt, clean, complex, yeast bread notes. Deep amber color, mild floral hop aroma. Medium body

another 1.50 single at Total Wine - really glad I got just the one. An ok malt character...lightly nutty with some caramel and toffee, but definitely a one trick pony with a muddled palate.

12 oz bottle. Tasted on 6/8/15. Bottle from Lynn. Drank from a Spiegal IPA glass. Not my style of beer too much malt no hops at all very boring beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle as Alien Amber Ale. (Little A’le’inn) Rachel, NV.
Clear amber colour with a big foamy light tan head. Sweet malt, caramel and mild herbs in the aroma. The flavour is sweet malt, caramel and mild hoppy bitterness. Boring.

Bottle, Deep copper color, light head dissipates instantly. smells like strong grape, malty. Taste lots of red grape as well, not sure if its this bottle or...? None of the other r eviews I’ve seen noted any grape so... Tastes like a malty wine more than anything. Not too impressed.

scooterbub (1068) - Lander, Wyoming, USA - JAN 1, 2015
12 ounce bottle. Pours a copper color with a thin beige head. Taste is of malt, caramel, barley, wood and sugar. Malt and caramel aroma. Has a decent body. Not bad.
