Straw, perfect clarity. Grassy, sauv blanc, restrained fruitiness, grainy malt support. What an awesome pils, this one HAS to be put in 6 packs in the future. HonusWagner (2218) - Florida, USA - AUG 8, 2014
Nearly perfect. This is what hoppy lagers should aspire to. Fruity as all hell, drinks like a delicious glass of water on a hot day, nice level of bitterness, not sweet in the slightest but doesn’t have that palate-wrecking bite. Just awesome stuff. Give me more Nelson Sauv Pils, or whatever this is. 944play (425) - Santa Rosa, California, USA - OCT 1, 2014
Draft at Sprenger’s. Near clear pale gold with fluffy head and copious lace. Enticing, noble, herbaceous, refined nose. Minty pancakes taste; sounds weird but is insanely great. Brilliantly slaking, dry, clean palate with plenty of carbonation sizzle. A mic-drop beer. drpimento (3726) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 20, 2014
Poured with a thick long-lasting off-white head and some lace. ARoma is yeast lemon hop malt spice. Color is a clear pale yellow. Carbonic tang and hop bitter do dominate although it's actually fairly well-balanced ; classic Pilsner flavor with just enough hops. Perfect palate. Great drinking beer.

12 oz bottle from the Beer Camp Across America variety pack. Pours clear straw gold with a large fluffy white head with excellent retention, leaving a little lace. Aroma is grainy, bready, earthy, grassy, floral. Taste is so crisp and refreshing; it’s candy sweet and finishes with a lingering bitterness; a hint of tartness comes out after it warms a bit. Mouthfeel is slightly foamy, body medium. Excellent Pilsner! dwyerpg (6365) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUL 20, 2014
Not a ton in the aroma other than some crispness. Looks okay. The is quite tasty. A definite floral and fruitiness to it with a crisp bite and a fairly dry finish. A top notch pilsener. Frank (4225) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 27, 2014
I wasn’t expecting this to be remotely to style due to the NZ hops but it is much closer than I thought--not that being off style is necessarily a bad thing. This is a perfectly clear yellow beer w/ a long-lived head of fine bubbles. Its nose is big and full w/ loads of grassy noble-type hops and a bready malt character as well. There is just the faintest bit of sweetness which brings out some slight notes of citrus and tropical fruit from the hops. This is a medium bodied beer w/ creamy, fine carbonation. It finishes w/ a firm, lingering bitterness, a touch of bread dough, just a slight twinge of fruitiness and maybe just a hint of mineral character from the water. I expected to like this beer but didn’t expect it to be quite so good as it is. It is subtle and complex w/ malt, hops, water and yeast all making their own identifiable contribution. This is absolutely a world class beer. unclemattie (4357) - Georgia, USA - AUG 9, 2014
2014 Beer Camp Across America Tour, mixed 12pk. 12oz bottle. Light grey label. Pours clear, yellow. Thin white ring. Smells like a well hopped Czech Pils. Straw/hay, bready notes, well hopped. Tastes of straw, bread, grass hops, hints of fruit from hops. Clean, very sessionable, chewy and delicious. (4145) Braudog (6803) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - AUG 21, 2014
Bottle. I LOVE good pilsners! This is a beautiful pour ... slightly hazy, yellow, giant Germanic pile of white foam. Tight and lemon-citric edge on this, with a great Hessian biscuit base. I love it! More beer knurds to expand their appreciate for the beauty of pilsners. (#5625, 8/21/2014)
