Bottled, enjoying the entire beer Camp 12 pack while camping! Pours very dark work tan/brown foam. Aroma of chocolate and coffee with the lactose in the background. Chocolate and bitter taste. Nice morning camping drink! shigadeyo (3730) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 22, 2015
5/22/2015 (bottle): The aroma is sugared coffee with a splash of cream, dark chocolate, and a sprinkling of roasted malt. Very, very dark brown color, opaque; thin cratered crown of beige-colored foam. Coffee up front in the flavor giving way to dark chocolate, roasted malt, creamy light sweetness; bittersweet finish with slightly herbal hops and a slightly espresso-like acidic finish. The coffee aftertaste grows as it warms. Warming alcohol, but it isnít overt. Medium body, prickly carbonation, average mouth feel. Robust and is a lot like iced coffee with just a bit of cream and sugar. The coffee is the main star, but it isnít just beer with a splash of coffee. However, I really donít like lactose in beer. Overall, this is a well-crafted beer that is quite enjoyable. However, one 12 fl. oz. bottle is more than enough. I like it, but this just isnít my cup of tea... er, coffee... anymore. lusikka (7813) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 25, 2015
355 ml bottle. Cheers veliemboys. Pours a pitch black colour with a small beige head. Aroma of strong espresso notes, syrup and licorice. Flavour of strong roastiness, chocolate, salty licorice, sugary sweetness and strong bitter coffee notes. A bit thin mouthfeel. Medium bodied and a very dry, malty, coffee finish. Nice coffee bitterness here. woodychevy (874) - - MAR 24, 2015
Best one yet from Beer Camp case. So, so good. Delicious. Perfect balance between malt, lactose, hops and cold press. Cold press adds so much flavor without the acidity- really makes for a superior coffee stout. Nice roasted, chocolate notes. Milk sugar is there without being overly sweet. Pours black with a decent tan head. Medium bodied- on the lighter side for a stout. Finish is clean and long. Exceptional Goodgrief (2020) - Middletown, Delaware, USA - MAR 22, 2015
Growler fill at Krestons Middletown. Wow, this is tasty. Dark pour with huge frothy head and all kinds of lacing. Just beautiful. Rich coffee aroma, almost like a good iced coffee. It just smacks you on the head with coffee roast, but smooth and milky as well. Creamy yet robust. Nice, nice beer.

35,5 cl bottle @†olio, bottled 30.05.2014olio (10163) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 21, 2015
Aroma is rather neat with lots of mocha coffee. Also hints of hay and cocoa. Flavour has mocha coffee, somewhat salty licorice and some cocoa. Nice, I like the coffee here. Only faint traces of the milk, which is also a good thing. The saltiness disturbs me here a bit though.

Pours clear dark mahogany color with a large off-white head. Lots of coffee on the nose, some sweet caramel malts, wood and some brown sugar too. Coffee flavor, again some sweet malts and caramel, faint licorice and bread notes too. I like the amount of coffee here. Good.

Black pour with a brown head. Aroma is coffee and some bitterness. Taste is coffee, sweetness from lactose. Tasty beer. Nice balance of the coffee bitterness and the lactose. The hops are kept in check with lactose and coffee.
