Why can’t all beers be of this quality? Damn this is fantastic! Sweet and tart oh so complex and delicate. Creamy marshmellow aroma. peach and pineapple and light spice. Sierra Nevada makes some damn good beers but this has Vinny’s stamp all over it. I need a friggin keg of this golden elixer. This why I buy all the sub par brews in hope of finding a beer like this. I could go on and on the Belgium aspect and the west coast influence. dhunter151 (590) - Santa Rosa, California, USA - JAN 29, 2013
Love this beer. It has a champagne/cider feel to it. Very carbonated. Tastes like pear, apple and banana. The Brett gives it an earthiness. It can vary a little from bottle to bottle.

Mental. Champenoise style. Light brett.
Citron. Épice. Légèrement acide. Fruité. Malté. Boié. Pain au citron. Banane. Levure typique belge. Fine amertume en finale. Un petit bijou. wnewberr (100) - Huntersville, North Carolina, USA - JUL 22, 2012
Almost perfect! Could use a little more head retention though. Wonderful flavor that include a minor tartness. World class! rajendra82 (1098) - Alpharetta, Georgia, USA - JUL 28, 2012
Golden, clear body, and the vigorous carbonation streamers rising up from the etched nucleation site at the bottom of the Duvel tulip glass gave this beer an attractive appearance. The smell of brett induced funk mixed with green apples, honey, and lavender was very intoxicating. The taste provided everything promised by the smell, and then some. The palette was dry like a saltine cracker, with an initial sour apple and herbal flavor, that transitioned into white pepper, honey, and coriander. The finish had a hint of cheese from the aged hops and then faded into a cider like aftertaste. The funk of Brett was there, but did not overpower. This appears to be a beer made to enjoy both fresh, and after aging, and I would love to pick up a couple of bottles for the cellar, so to see how it evolves.

Excellent beer. Very smooth ale with hints of many flavors. Very enjoyable after taste. mdntklrmth (34) - Lawrence, Kansas, USA - OCT 27, 2012
Well hot damn. I can't believe this beer surfaced in Lawrence, KS. Poured into my Great Basin glass since my Sierra Nevada shaker glass isn't in my possession right now. Highly carbonated like a Belgian should and as expected the head fell quickly to nothing. Super light and clear. Incredibly complex aroma. Pears, apples, horse blanket and smoke. Tastes of some barnyard and slight fruity character. Light and crisp, this is a very special beer for me. I've tried making two treks out to Russian River and failed due to certain circumstances but trekked out to Sierra Nevada and had the best time of my life there. Fantastic job Mr. Grossman and Cilurzo! leah2974 (453) - Georgia, USA - DEC 4, 2012
Nose is pear and notes of cranberry and cinnamon. Creamy white head. Sour flavor with pear aftertaste. Lemony and mildly spicy. Very good. revolverlbc (22) - California, USA - DEC 7, 2012
Yum. Beautiful beer well balanced fruity and yeasty. As it warms in your hand new flavor profiles develop. Highly recommended. jglanton (18) - Yorba Linda, CA, California, USA - AUG 3, 2012
Aroma of earthy hay, ripe pineapple and dried apricot.
Golden copper color with a lively, frothy head. Slightly hazy.
Taste of sweet apricot, pineapple, some pine, just a light bitterness and light sourness.
Carbonation both soft and lively, a sublime experience crossing the lips and tongue. Creamy texture. Finish is moderate bitter.
