Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruit, floral hops, some mild grass, earth and mild syrupy notes. Flavour is quite similar with also some mild notes of nettles and bready malts.

Lightly hazy amber beer, short lived off white head. Light palate, starts crisp but rapidly turns soft. Sweetish malts with a little caramel, vaguely tripel like but dark. Well integrated citrus hop. Turns softer with sweet caraway malt. Nicely joined up and very drinkable.
Tap at Standings. Pours a clear, rich ruby-amber with a medium, soft white head. Light caramel aroma with strong bready notes and some honey. Flavor is quite sweet, with more caramel and bready, along with ripe fruits. Medium bodied with average, tingly carbonation and a tad syrupy. Finishes sweet with a hoppy presence. Very good. rlgk (18852) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 2, 2011
Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival 2011. Malty vinous aroma, sweetish, hay notes, bready, some spices. Malty bready flavor, sweetish and vinous, some hay. Nicely balanced beer. brokensail (16633) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 15, 2010
A: The pour is a really nice copper color with a finger’s worth of dense white foam.
S: The nose is sweet and bready, but with a very nice fruit (sweet apple) and earthy hop contribution. Good nose all around.
T: Plenty of bread and toasted malt up front with a bit of vanilla, caramel, and maybe some miscellaneous fruits as well. The hops are subtle, but provide a bit of a bitterness and some light earth and spice notes.
M: The body is medium with a creamy carbonation and mouthfeel.
D: I think I might like this iteration of SN30 a little bit better than the stout, and maibocks aren’t really even my favorite style. A really nice and flavorful beer. bhensonb (15621) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 20, 2010
750, c&c from the Co-Op in Davis, CA. Pours like fine champagne - little bubbles on the glass (Maredsous glass) with a foamy 4 finger off-white head and an aged amber gold color. Aromas of mildly roasted malt and light floral hop. Medium plus body with mild carbonation. Flavor is lightly roasted malt and a nice floral aspect. It makes me think oak and astringent in a mild way. I think it finishes balanced, perhaps a tad towards the hoppy side. In the end bitter dominates the mouth. Really good drink.
