"A Collaboration of Pioneering Brewers. 22% Ale Aged in Bourbon Barrels, 78% Ale. Blend of Oak Aged Bigfoot, Celebration Ale, and Fresh Pale Ale". Tan orange half inch lacy lasting head. Rich dark amber color.Mellow bourbon oak aromatic complex fruit malt hop aroma front. Surprisingly light medium textured medium sweet somewhat fruity malty Bigfoot dominated body. Medium light fruity sediment. Flavors aged well and mellowed together nicely. Touch of Bourbon heat mixed with lingering sweetness and hop spice in rich complex somewhat overpowering end. Tasty, but too much work to drink. (3.5/5.0)

With Z, pours a dark deep rusty brown color with a nice beige head. Nose is sweet caramel and syrupy. Taste is sweet and hoppy , smooth and nicely balanced. Not over the top sweet like most strong ales. Finishes on the same tasting notes with a nice bittersweet finish . Quaff Score 7 / 10

magsinva (1191) - Virginia, USA - DEC 30, 2015
Bottle from the NC brewery - this one is pretty to look at, but Im afraid there might be something wrong with the bottle, or it hasnt aged well. Im not getting any of the cherry or fruity notes that others describe, just boring piney bitterness. Pass.

Bottle from Sierra Nevada NC. Pours brown with a thick khaki head. leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. not a lot on the nose. a bit of wood on the tongue and a lot of bitterness on the finish. I would have loved to have tried this one fresh. I dont think its aged well.

Tap at falling rock. Pours deep ruby. Aroma is cherries, caramel, bready malts, floral hops, and and faint oak. Flavor is decently hoppy with faint sweet caramel notes, and a dry oaky finish. Medium body.

Testad p Linkping beer expo. Stsliskig, oljig doft. Smaken r st, besk och lite blaskig p samma gng. Ganska spretig, obalanserad smak. Hade hellre sett att denna endast innehll fatlagrad bigfoot..
