Long delayed backlog from NOTB. Poured a cloudy orange with a soapy head. SMell was a boozy sweet nectar- somthing I am prone to like. The booze on the nose did not translate to an alcohol burn, lending for a sweet and smooth drink. blklab2007 (2120) - Connecticut, USA - MAY 24, 2011
draft notb aroma has nice tequila, barrel wood, sweetness, and some agave spice. mouth feel is medium and it works it’s way dry. flavor has a good agave tequila, drying salt, peppery spice, barrel wood, and some light heat. I like the way the tequila comes through brightly. Rciesla (5607) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - MAY 7, 2011
Draft at EBF. Pours an orange body with a brisk white head. Dry and woody body with lots of tequila notes. Light apricot notes, hints of wormwood, citrus and wood notes. Big booze warmth but since its tequila it naturally dries out very quickly leaving a nice woody character. I’m a fan. HonusWagner (2248) - Florida, USA - APR 4, 2011
Really heavy on the agave, on top of a pretty damn sweet heller bock that is able to stand up to a lot of barrel-aging. A fun experiment, and much more tequila-like than Zapata Bot was. deyholla (12582) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 19, 2011
Sampled from the tap at NotB. Poured a hazy gold with a white head that lasted throughout the beer and laced nicely. Aroma had a strong agave note with sweet grains, bread and some backing light fruits. Flavor had a boozy tequila note with some sweet grains and bread that bite into the booziness. Thought the tequila was a bit strong but worked pretty nicely.

Pouring at the Night of the Barrels at EBF. Pours a hazed brown with a thin beige head. Wood, faint sweetness and toast. Sweet and malty, toast and candy. Smooth and gentle, warm barrel notes with some booze.
