The 2007 Anniversary Ale features prominent usage of Cascade hops the signature hop used in Sierra Nevadas most popular product, Pale Ale. It is an American Style IPA with a big, fragrant pine and citrus hop aroma balanced by the sweetness of two-row pale and caramel malt. It finishes with an additional Cascade dry-hopping creating a big hop aroma Sierra Nevada fans will look forward to. 2007-2009, discontinued 2010.

Pours a hazy amber with a nice two fingers of white head that dissipates rather quickly but leaves some nice lacing. The smell is mostly of floral hops with a small hint of citrus and malt. The taste is wonderfully hoppy with the dominant hops being floral and pine. There are hints of citrus as well with an extremely faint hint of malt. The first few sips seemed overly bitter, but as the brew warmed I was able to pick out all of the flavors. The carbonation is balanced very well and compliments the bite of the hop bitterness. The finish is bone dry. A very well crafted IPA. There are many dimensions to this beer than you might initially think as you get into the glass a bit. SN usually makes a solid straight-forward brew, but there is definitely a bit more to this one. Reviewed on: 10-29-2008

Originally rated on 9/22/08. Anniversary ale poured a deep copper body, with good carbonation that lead to a thick off white cap. Aroma was pleasent with a strong floral hop presence similar to their pale ale but a little stronger. Flavor was a disappointment, a long lasting, overwhelming bitterness that overpowered the floral notes. Maybe my batch was old, who knows, i am not sure if i would try it again.

En meget humlet l, godt tr, men alligevel med en friskhed, der er ikke en stor dybte i den, men den har en klar ren smag. om jeg husker andre l fra bryggeriet, er dette endnu en god humlet l fra Sierra Nevada.

11/20/2007 12:54:19 PM Bottle from Bier Koning. Creamy orange colour, bursting head. Amazing hopy and piney nose. Very nice tasting. A fantastic ipa with lots of pine, grapefruit and slightly bitter taste. Also some caramel. Quite hoppy and delicious.

"it must be the dry hopping, cause this one is better than the ipa and pale too. i like their dry hopped beers though, one of their better ones, almost along with topedo ale, celebration ale, and of course, bigfoot."

Bottle 355 ml from 2009, at Delirium Hoppy Loft. Pours amber with off white head. Slightly hoppy and caramel aroma. Caramel hoppy flavor. There is a chance bottle wasnt in the best condition.

A- Pours a cloudy golden color with a nice, frothy, 2 finger head. S- Wheat, slightly hoppy, somewhat faint. T- Lots of piney hops all the way through. Deep bready, wheaty malt undercurrent. M- Medium bodied with medium carbonation. D- I find this beer to be extremely drinkable. Another winner from SN.
