Slightly hazed golden straw with a white head. Salty aroma with a slight lactic tartness. A bit of a melon aroma, some pear, and a bit of coriander. A decent malt sweetness, too. On tap at Avery Sour Fest poured a hazy yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of straw, dirty feet,salt and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Aroma is salty Pils malt, corn, light lactic acid, and barnyard funk notes. Flavor is mild malt, lightly salty, funky and barnyard notes, very mild and a dry finish. Tap @ Avery SourFest III. Hazy, light yellow appearance with a white head. Somewhat spicy (coriander), lemon citrusy, light vanilla, cheesy aroma. The salt is definitely present in the flavor, but unfortunately, the flavor is a tart, lemon, light stomach acid flavor. @ Avery Sourfest. Hazy light gold with a thin bubbly head. Cereal aroma with a touch of oak and vanilla and some dry fruit rind. Flavor wasn’t very sour, just a touch. Pour on tap at Avery Sourfest 2012, clear yellow pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of coriander, lemon, some biscuit, bread notes, touch of earthy and yeasty notes, hint of ever so slight salt with a grassy and herbal overtone. Draft. Golden-straw beer with a whitish head. Light malt and light spice aroma. Light malt and light tart flavor with light spice and salt. Medium bodied. Salt and tartness lingers with light spice and light malt.
