COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is a true West Coast-style Double IPA made with huge amounts of hops - both in the kettle for flavor and later in the torpedo to impart a massive hop aroma. The light malt body and dry finish hide the power in this immensely drinkable hop-bomb.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2017 Sample at the Mills River brewery. Clear dark golden color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of grapefruit, piney hops and grainy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Draft at Sierra Nevada NC. Pours orange with a white head. Leaves lots of lacing in the glass. Lots of citrus notes on the nose. Fairly citrusy on the tongue as well. Hides its booze well. Finished clean. Drinks really smooth for a double IPA.

Very subdued, subtle hop flavor for a double ipa. Ends with a crisp, short finish that makes this beer drinkable and delicious.

Bitter orange 2 finger tight creamy head. Columbus, Simcoe boom out of the glass with a bitter orange and pine needle. Intense bitterness but Im not too surprised. lacks balance but certainly more balance than Hop Hunter. The malt has an old grainy taste to it. No spice at all just sweet & bitter.

Hoppy and malt aroma come from this clear pale Amber brew with a small head. Sweet and hoppy medium bodied brew and a slight bitterness and warming from the alcohol in the after taste.
